Castle square window
Hello Eurobrickers, I'm building several colossal castles and have seen many interesting techniques. I used many of them, but one is puzzling me... I wanted 2 use a square window in one of my towers, I couldn't find one and stared looking on the web. After a long search I found this window (see photo, red circle) but I can't make up what it is or how it is constructed, can someone please help.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
I like the OT sets, never got a B-wing so this time it will be the first set I get! Snowspeeder??? I have more then plenty... I don't think I will start collecting the TV-show stuff again, so that saves me some money. I was hoping for an EPI AAT, or one more set of EP II or EP III with some special clone troopers in it, but I don't think this is the complete wave? Happy New Year all!!!

How 2 build a Giant Castle?
Hello Eurobrickers, Lately I feel the need to get my old castle sets from the attic and I have also started on building a Giant Castle, something I always wanted to do. Since I was very young when I collected Castle sets, I didn't get a chance to build up a nice army, I have maybe 20 Lions figures and 10 Dragon masters, some Black Falcons and Crusaders 2, but just a handful. Now my 2 Question is: 1. Of all the factions that are out there, which one should I get to build my army with? 2. What building technique should I use for my Castle? (In the picture you can see some of the building that I made in LDD that will be part of the Castle.) Should I use the 2 on 2 technique or just go wild and use all kind of bricks like in the buildings?

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
I'm not sure about U.K., this one is in Belgium in the New LEGO store in the Wijnegem Shopping mall. Every time you buy something there, you get a little square box that you can fill up at the 27 December, the event lasts until 31 March. It would be nice to get an updated Kaadu 2, but the dewback is overdue, so i'm very happy with this news.

Review: 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers
Yeah, i posted some pictures of the new blasters in an other topic and didn't want to repeat myself. They have some use in this set though, if you but them on the vehicle. The helmet of the Scout Trooper should have been better indeed, but I have been staring at them some time now and I really got used 2 them... I though they where a little strange myself at first, but if you really think it is right down ugly, I recommend you wait for an update of this figure. Maybe some websites will get some better custom helmets, though usually the are expensive.

Review: 75035 Kashyyyk Troopers
Hello Eurobrikcers, I just finished set 75035 and because many people are a bit worried about the scoot trooper, I thought I could do a little review, since I managed to get the set really early. Set Name: Kashyyyk Troopers Set #: 75035 Theme: Star Wars Pieces: 101 Mini-figures: 4 (Kashyyyk Scout Trooper, Kashyyyk Clone Trooper) Year of Release: Winter 2013-2014 Price: 12.99 (It was on a 10% discount) I have seen some shops offering it at 15.99€ though. I will add some pictures with comments and give my final thoughts at the end of the review. Enjoy! First of all the box, it is a standard battle pack box. (A little oversized for its content) Content, 2bags, 1 set of instructions. Instructions. Part out of the set, nothing 2 special, except maybe the few dark red parts and the round gray and dark gray pieces. Mini-figures (note: I gave them 2nd generation blasters) Indeed the helmet visor doesn't lineup with the eyes, but you don't really notice mush of it. This guy was looking for Kashyyyk, but found the Christmas tree instead. Finished set. Extra parts Modification (I changed the leg joint too black, I like it better this way) Final Thoughts and score: Functions: 8/10 You have a moving rotor in the back, moving panels in front of the troopers and 2 firing blasters attached to the front. So I think everything moves that is supposed to move. Parts: 7.5/10 Parts are okay, most of them are standard, some nice pieces, but nothing 2 special. Price: 8/10 12.99 for 101 pieces is a good price I guess, though in most shops it is 15.99€, that is a little mush I think, but it is a great set. Accuracy:8.5/10 The design is very nice for such a small set. It is pretty similar to the 8091 Swamp Speeder, but obviously smaller. Only the guns in the front could be a little more accurate. Minifigures printing is pretty accurate 2, maybe the helmet of the Scout Trooper is a bit big, but really it is not much of an issue. Overall: 7.5/10 I think it is a great set, and if you if you are into the PT you should definitely get it. It will be a nice variation in your Clone Trooper Army. The speeder maybe a bit smaller, but as Yoda would say "Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you?" I know many people are worried about the Scout Trooper, so was I, but I could not resist the temptation. Now I am glad I got it. Really, you will like it once it is on your shelf's next 2 the rest of your minfigures and vehicles. The standard camo clone trooper is very nice looking 2. Maybe I will get one more of these myself, for an extra vehicle, but then it is off to bricklink for more mini-figures. Overall it will a great set both for playing and displaying, the choice is yours of course. I hope you guys enjoyed the review and that it helps make up your mind. Update: I wouldn't get it at full price though...

Review: 75034 Death Star troopers
I like the new capes 2, but I'm not sure about the arms... The minifigures look good overall, but I will probably bricklink them somewhere in the future. Thank you for reviewing this set.

Review: 75041 Volture Droid
They turn up somewhere in EpIII on Mustafar. So, they are not directly connected with the Volture Droid, but both are CIS. For this set however its just 2 boost the sale, but its still a nice looking minifigure, if you don't really like the ship, I recommend you get it some time later on Bricklink.

Review: 75041 Volture Droid
Hello Eurobrickers, today I will be reviewing set 75041. I only just managed to get the last one in the shop, the people that work there didn't even get the time to put them all on the shelves, as most people just took them out of the trolley without waiting. So since it seems to be so popular, I wanted to do a little review for you all. Set Name: Volture Droid Set #: 75041 Theme: Star Wars Pieces: 205 Mini-figures: 3 (Pilot Battle Droid, Neimoidian Warrior and the Buzz Droid) I don't consider the last one a mini-figure myself though. Year of Release: Winter 2013-2014 Price: 24.99 (It was on a 10% discount) I will add some pictures with comments and give my final thoughts at the end of the review. Enjoy! First of all the box, we all know how that looks of course. One instruction manual, two bags and one sheet of stickers. Instructions manual. Part out of the set. There are some nice pieces here, specially the dark blue. Showing of the mini-figures. The Neimoidian Warrior looks very good, nice detail on front and back of torso, also very nice leg printing. The armor shows some wearing 2. I forgot to take a picture of the Buzz Droid, but you can see it in other shots. I thought I would give a good viewing of the new springshooter. They are better than the old springshooter, but I still don't like them. I prefer not to have any springloaded things sticking out my model and flying all over the places. But as I sais for those that do like them, they are an improvement. Some pictures of the finished model. Cockpit? I Don't know what that is doing there... Here you can see the thickness of the body, for those wondering with the adding of a cockpit. Extra pieces Final Thoughts and score: Functions: 7.5/10 Two springloaded missiles, hidden below the main body. Turning legs, and moveable head. The turning points of the legs are solid, the springloaded missiles are worked well inside the body. What I don't like is the head, its comes down way to far, due to the cockpit. Parts: 8/10 Some good parts in here. As I said, some nice dark blue parts, the neimoidian helmet is nice too, new brown color. You also get a nice black part (first one for me) that kind of looks like the new blasters. (You can see it on the "part out" picture, it is to the right of the Dark Bleu 1x4 bars) Price: 8/10 24.99 for 205 parts is okay I think, since it's Star Wars and I don't think its that mush overpriced. Accuracy: 6.5/10 The design is good, but personally I think the main body is too big, this is of course due 2 the adding of a cockpit that doesn't need to be there in the first place. Also the moving of the head is not very good, as it can only move to the front, but can't look left or right. Overall: 7.5/10 It's a great set and would be a nice addition to your CIS Army, specially the Neimoidian warrior. The design of the fighter is very sturdy and the new springshooters are an improvement, if your into that. The Buzz Droid is still a strange looking, way too big thing imo. Also, I don't like the applying of stickers... But I think it is a great set both for playing and displaying, although I think I am going to modify the head a little. I hope you guys enjoyed my first review.
