  1. I am still wondering about 60336 freight train. At least in german catalogs, it was only available for less than one year, and was replaced by it's predecessor 60198. I cannot remember that something like this has ever happened before.
  2. Built the set yesterday. And I noticed, that there is a possible quality problem regarding the optic fibers. In steps 132 and 133, the long optic fibers need to be fiddled thorugh a black connector. With one of the long optic fibers, that was no problem. But the other one, was a huge problem. Nearly impossible to do. I tried many different pieces of the black connector, but this didn't make any difference. It looks like one of the optic fiebers was a little bit thicker than the other one.
  3. I know that this is a very unpopular opinion, but I'd like TLC to go back to studded technic sets and 4w city cars & trucks.
  4. @Ngoc Nguyen thank you very much
  5. Thanks, I will try this. But as mentioned before - could you provide a single scan of page 174? Because it is folded in the PDF file.
  6. @Ngoc Nguyen Would it be possible that you share the scanned pics instead of a pdf file? In this case, I'd try to trim and rotate the images, and then make a pdf of them.
  7. I collect, because I simply like the looks and the style of the late 1970s and 1980s sets. The modern sets from year 2000 until today, they don't appeal to me. Many of them appear ugly to me, with only very few exceptions.
  8. I never saw straight RC train track sections that were NOT warped. Maybe it is intended (for whatever reason), or it is a quality issue that exists since 2006.
  9. Well, the modern studless technic models look like cheap China toys, at least for my opinion. And they constructions are weak and wobbly, you need a zillion of connectors to make them somewhat sturdy. (of course, this increases the official "parts count content" printed on the box). The studded technic sets need way less parts to get constructions that are more solid...
  10. Studded technic is better than studless.
  11. I agree totally... Lego was never cheap, but in the 80s and early 90s, quality was good. Today, the quality of bricks, stickers and boxes is poor, but the prices are beyond everything. Technic sets consist if stupid and wobbly liftarms instead of solid bricks...
  12. 6679 are two different sets same for 6648, 6628, 6375
  13. If people like them, they shall buy them. For me, most of the modern minifigs appear ugly.
  14. I believe that it will be something like the pseudo-train 9467.
  15. For me, it is quite the opposite. No matter if used or MISB, ebay is always much cheaper than Bricklink. Of course, availability at Bricklink is better at eBay.
