  1. Thank you both! I tried more than any other of my Star Trek series to get them as accurate as possible, and I think it turned out great. Thanks for the feedback! I'm feeling like an idiot at the moment, I forgot to upload some pictures last night, I only realised this morning. Anyway, here they are: "Have no fear, O'Riley's here, and one Irishman is worth ten thousand of you. " Lt Kevin Riley (yes, the Irishman in the engine room singing "I'll take you home again, Kathleen", who nearly crashes the Enterprise into Psi 2000. He also nearly gets killed by a mass murderer, but that's a different story.) "And now, crew, I will render 'Kathleen'... ONE MORE TIME!" "Please, not again." Battle damaged Kirk And a back view. And what would a battle damaged Kirk be without,.... "I weary of the chase. Wait for me. I shall be merciful and quick." The Gorn Captain "This may be my last entry. I am almost exhausted. Unless I find the weapon the Metron mentioned, I have very little time left. Native sulfur, diamonds... This place is a mineralogist's dream! Yet... there is something about sulfur... something very old. Something... if only I could remember." Enjoy!!
  2. I don't mind variants! For Cheetah, maybe the Cave woman from series 5 I think?
  3. "Door slams Music starts" "My greetings and felicitations to you all. How great of you to drop in, how absolutely smashing. General Trelane, retired, at your service, my home is your home." "Welcome to an island of peace on my stormy little planet called Gothos." "Retired sir, just squire now, and you may call me squire, yes I rather fancy that." "You must excuse my whimsical way of fetching you here, but when I saw you passing by I simply could not resist! I can't tell you how delighted I am to have visitors from the very planet I've made my hobby." "Ah yes, I've been looking on the lively adventures of your little earth! Oh really, have I made an error in time? How fallible of me, oh I so wanted you to feel at home." "I must say say they make a perfectly exquisite display pair, but I suppose you want to see the rest, I'm quite proud of the detail." "Imprisoned? Nonsense! Your my guests! " So, next up in my Star Trek marathon, TOS, the original series, or as Mr Scott said: "N-C-C one seven oh one. No bloody A, B, C or D." Before, I start, no Uhura. I still need to get Storm's head, so she's omitted. I want to do my best in making these, so instead of a half made figure I made the move to leave her out. She will be made, though. Also, descriptions will be sparse. It's after twelve here in the UK, and I've been working on these for two hours, so I'll come back and edit these later. Captain Kirk "I'M CAPTAIN KIRK!!!" Commander Spock "Fascinating." Dr McCoy "In this galaxy, there's a mathematical probability of three million Earth-type planets. And in all of the universe, three million million galaxies like this. And in all of that... and perhaps more, only one of each of us. Don't destroy the one named Kirk." Lt Commander Scott (Scotty) "I canna change the law of physics! I've got to have 30 minutes!" Lt Sulu "Don't call me Tiny" Ensign Chekov "Give some more blood, Chekov. The needle won't hurt, Chekov. Take off your shirt, Chekov. Roll over, Chekov. Breathe deeply, Chekov. Blood sample, Chekov. Marrow sample, Chekov. Skin sample, Chekov. If-if I live long enough, I'm going to run out of samples." Nurse Chapel "[scott enters Sickbay and sees Nurse Chapel slapping the unconscious Mr. Spock] What are you doing, woman? Leave me alone! Have ya gone daft? Mr. Spock needs me!" Lt Kyle Not "technically" all redshirts, but still background characters. Guess who's going with the big three down to the "not so hostile" hostile planet to die? You never know, it maybe season 1, and it'll be the guy on the far left... (the legs look terrible on the woman on the right, I'm fixing them now so ignore the messiness of it.) Kor, Koloth, and Kang (WIP) Trelane, retired Khan "I have five times your strength. You're no match for me!" Gary Seven (I really need a Lego pen and a black cat now) He's dead Jim (you grab his keys, I'll grab his wallet) Credit for the uniforms goes to the designer of the stickers I got. Credit for how to do the skirt designs on Nurse Chapel, the Yeoman, and future figs, was an idea my girlfriend gave me while I showed her some of my Superhero figs (it's a similar technique I use for adding boots to various superheroes). Comments? Criticisms? Suggestions? Questions? Anything, either way, is always welcomed. Sorry in advance for any spelling and grammar mistakes, Enjoy!!
  4. Loving them! Particularly Flash, Cyborg and Lantern, though I like the way you went for a different, impressive look, with Red Hood and Green Arrow, along with many others. Maybe some JSA members?
  5. I'm "trying" to take photos now, so soon will either be late late tonight or tomorrow more likely. Either way, a PM will be sent immediately afterward. No Uhura, I've got the body, legs, and hair done, but I haven't got a Storm head or the money to get one, and more will be up in the next few weeks, but a lot (i.e. all the main crew plus a few others...) will be up. EDIT: Photos have been taken, just need to retake a few things here and there. Tomorrow is the likely time now, so keep an eye out.
  6. I'll have to give that a try! So, just like I did with DS9, a little teaser for the upcoming TOS figs (my supplies arrived today): "Risk! Risk is our Business. That's what this starship is all about." Lots, lots, lots more to come soon.
  7. It was 50% off before I got it, I buy all my sets to play with display, i.e. I rip the box open as fast as humanly possible and open all the bags like a caffeined idiot. I keep my boxes in storage, so personally I can live with one battered Castle box out of hundreds.
  8. That Scorpion tail is fantastic! Very nice parts usage, I may borrow it if that's alright for my Scorpion!
  9. Dr Leg O Brick replied to Rinzler's post in a topic in Community
Nice work! I always preferred that outfit of Mudd's to the one in Mudd's women or the animated series, it fitted his personality better in my opinion. Trelane's great as well. Great to see your work, I look forward to more! For reference, a picture of Trelane: http://tos.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/1x17/The_Squire_of_Gothos_107.JPG And Mudd in that outfit: http://tos.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/2x08/TOS_2x12_IMudd0130-Trekpulse.jpg
  10. Maybe this Lego wise for the M 113 creature, or something similar?: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=95225&in=S In grey? Any suggestions on Porthos? Most Lego dogs seem too big. I've got the main crew, Daniels, Arik Soong, and a couple of others lined up in my mind, though Phlox is going to be hard. Wow! Glad I inspired you, I look forward to seeing it! If you've got a problem with posting pics, drop me a PM, I'll try and help (I had a problem posting pictures too). I'll keep an eye out!
  11. True, but Colossus isn't as wide, at least the original I'm familiar with. A mini big fig would better, or a different body shape at least.
  12. Yep, post number 50 at the very bottom of this page (shameless plug for my Marvel figs): http://www.eurobrick...pic=93287&st=25 Between the shapeshifter in a chicken suit and the Destroyer armour. I've since given him an undamaged torso and a cape (update soon). Sorry to go of topic in err, my own topic. Very true Reg, I felt it was a shame to leave those great torsos on one side, I hope someday you get them, as a Basketball fan I'm sure you'd appreciate them. It was nice to see Shaq in the Lego movie as well.
  13. Rinzler, I've kind of went for my own style, not all of them have been in the Sinister Six, but, a Spidey villain is a Spidey villain to me. At the moment: Doc Ock Classic Green Goblin Carnage Mysterio Lizard. Sandman and Hydro man are the two I'm working on. I've got a football shirt, some sand bricks for his legs, a clone trooper head and an orange crew cut for Sandy at the moment, and thanks for the suggestions! Why are the X-Men trashing the beach? Graviton moved into the beach house and he's having fun smashing up one of the local super teams! Reg the ARC Trooper, thanks! They're made from spares I acquired when I got some of the older Basketball sets, I don't know the availability in Poland but here's some Brickset links to the sets I got: http://brickset.com/sets/3564-1/NBA-Collectors-#-5 http://brickset.com/sets/3566-1/NBA-Collectors-#-7
  14. Sounds good! Good ideas, the Salt Vampire's an interesting one, may I ask how you plan to achieve it's vampiric good looks? Via the decals? The TOS stuff should be on it's way, I also got some Enterprise stickers, so more Trek stuff is being made. Stay tuned!
  15. Too true, and I have five more.... Thanks! It's actually the other way round, the Sinister five's (Sandman's in development hell currently) attacking the Bugle and the X-Men are trashing the beach in my city. But rest assured, more Superhero MOCs will be forthcoming. Yep, some guy in a red shirt is currently being loaded onto the back of a coroner's van, ready for a post mortem, though cause of death is pretty obvious.
  16. I'm no way talented, but I used to love playing music, I've had to give it up, but over the years I've played the piano, guitar and Sax, a little of the drums from time to time as well. Singing as well, if that counts (though I don't boast about that).
  17. Before I start, if this belongs in town, could a MOD move it please. So, what to do with all the spares from my superhero customs, a love for town, and a load of friends who produce strange and questionable minifigs? Make some townsfolk of course! For your enjoyment, any feedback, both good, bad, or something in between is always welcome. Enjoy! Basketball fan, dock worker, motorcyclist, and some guy in a red shirt. A regular redshirt with the cutting edge of mobile technology in Legoland, a florist, another regular citizen, and a suspicious guy in a grey vest and shades. A dog walker, a nutter half dressed in a sombrero, and another basketball fan. Some more regular people, an England football fan, a teenager, and a man and woman who aren't Basketball fans. A definitely not suspicious and certainly not mentally unstable jogger, a beach house owner, another Basketball fan with a red afro (did the mayor get a joblot of these things? Seems like he's handing them out for free...) and another guy in a tie dye shirt and jacket. More regular people, another Basketball fan (no comment), and some other average citizens. Finally, another Basketball fan (aaahhhh!), a few regular people, and a barman at my minifig beach. Hope you like them, up next week, my police force.
  18. Sorry to double post, but another bit of Supermarionation news. Pic of the new Thunderbird 1 from the upcoming "reboot" series: http://i2.cdnds.net/...underbird-1.jpg I can't believe how alike it is to the original. It, personally, is what I envisioned as Thunderbird 1 say, 7 years after the first mission, modified and improved. I just can't believe how, brilliant, this looks. Bring on Thunderbird 2! Apparently it will be a mix of CGI and models, I have high hopes for this.
  19. Thanks! I've been customizing the 90s Star Trek action figures for years, so some "cough a lot" of the ideas are from them figs, but next to DS9 TOS is my favourite, so expect a lot of love for them! Who else have you made, may I ask? Thanks for the links, very much appreciated. I'd contact the MOD around here, LuxorV, and ask. He'll give you some good advice.
  20. Well, your read my mind! I'm hopefully going to order stickers for TOS soon, though I'm going to have to wait on making an Uhura, as no doubt the Storm head is rather expensive at the moment. Kang, Kor, Koloth, Garth of Izar, Khan and Marla, Trelane (one of the Pirates of the Caribbean torsos methinks), the Gorn captain, Harry Mudd, transporter duplicate Kirk, Dr Daystorm and the M5, and maybe some Kelvans like Rojan are what I've got in mind at the moment. I'd love somehow also to make Lokai and Bele from let that be your last battlefield, and some secondary characters on the Enterprise such as Lt. Kyle or Dr M'Benga. I have seen Minimate customs, though not here, but never Kero. I'd love to have a crack at the Guardian Of Forever as well, minifig scale.
  21. Not sure weather this is the appropriate place, but, is their any purist head similar to this alien from Star Trek? http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100201232045/memoryalpha/en/images/thumb/b/bb/Ikatika.jpg/292px-Ikatika.jpg Preferably cheap and easily available. Any help would be great!
  22. I've ordered fifty plus Lego sets from Amazon and, not only did they arrive much faster than I thought (one working day in three cases), they arrived fine bar one dented corner (I got the set 50% off, so I didn't mind). Guess I live near a distribution centre...
  23. Glad you like the Fire Tender LT! I'm tempted to post another but I'm going to try to stick to my schedule. I'd also like advise from everybody, I've made some 100+ civilians for my town, some interesting people in the crazy sort of way, do you think I should post them? Or would be people like to see them? And if so, where would the topic go? The Town or The Customization Workshop forum?
  24. So, I'm back, kind of. I got a flu virus for the last four weeks or so, not to mention other stuff going on, so I'm afraid new customs may be a bit longer, though I'll make an effort to get some done and post them. In the mean time, I got these stickers on the internet, if you'd like more info on them don't hesitate to PM me, I'm usually around. Just to say, 100% credit goes to the designers for the torso and head stickers, except for Shaman, I kept the official head I've been using. All new Alpha Flight (Aurora, Northstar and Sasquatch still exist, I just felt it was unnecessary to take a photo after I only recently took one, plus, they didn't fit!) Left to right, Marrina, Diamond Lil, Guardian, Vindicator, Puck, Shaman, Snowbird And a back view. Enjoy
