Change povray default light positions in Stud.io?
Classicsmiley replied to Trekkie99's post in a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and ProjectsLDview has been around for a long time, and is still an amazing rendering option. And yes, I too wish we could get basic screenshots in Studio done with the instructions renderer.

Waffles and Milk
Classicsmiley replied to ExeSandbox's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSome of the pieces shown in the image as being transparent have no record of actually being produced in transparent colors, which is what lead me to believe it's a render.

LDD 4.3.11 Update Discussion
Classicsmiley replied to ImAChangedMan's post in a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and ProjectsI found it in LDD 4.3.11. Search for 28145 in Extended mode. Please be aware that it does not appear you can multi-color it, so the glasses will be the same color as the hair, and there is no eye print on the glasses.

LDD 4.3.11 Update Discussion
Classicsmiley replied to ImAChangedMan's post in a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and ProjectsMy suggestion is to just learn to live with Extended. The "normal" mode isn't actually accurate for many pieces anyway.

[Software] LD Digital Mosaic Creator (LDDMC)
Great, thanks! I just downloaded the update, so I'll play around with it a bit. Thanks again!

[Software] LD Digital Mosaic Creator (LDDMC)
Lasse, Is there a way to specifically set the number of cells in the print diagram shown on each page? Setting the number of displayed magnifiers seems a little unusual to me. Thanks!

[Software] LD Digital Mosaic Creator (LDDMC)
Is there a way to explicitly specify the size of the magnified area on each page? (I've also got a couple other suggestions for additions to the printing interface, if you're interested.)

LEGO Boost part in LDD or LDraw
Classicsmiley replied to promobricks's post in a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and ProjectsWe don't know if or when LDD will receive any more parts updates, much less if the Boost parts might be in such an update. Since LDraw parts are primarily created by end users, you could either explore creating them yourself, or check the LDraw parts tracker to see if someone else has made an unofficial part yet. http://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/

Ldd on tablets with intel
Classicsmiley replied to Darth Hammy's post in a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and ProjectsWhat are the tablet operating system and hardware specs? Be aware that even if you can install it, you'll really need a mouse to effectively use LDD. I've tried it on a couple of Microsoft Surface tablets, and LDD is just not optimized for a touch interface.
