Lego Chima play table.
That's very cool. Beats playing on the floor for sure. Expecially when guys like me with old knees want to play with our kids.

Condor by Proudlove, on Flickr Here's a render I did of one of my most recent creations.

I think that the bounding box surrounding wheels is square, so if they are rotated at anything other than flat, the abseplane will be lowered. Maybe...

Thought I'd chip in again with a successful render of my mini-brickley model. It looks absolutely amazing except for the strange reflections going on around the 2x dishes around the eyes. Any explanation for that? brickley by Proudlove, on Flickr

So I've got everything up and running and I gotta say, it's awesome, thanks. I'm wondering about something though, why do some of the colours of slopes look so odd? The dark bluish grey will look different from one piece to the next.

Thanks for the help, now, however, POVray can't find the includes. #include "ldd_colors_declarations.bin" Maybe my output path is wrong?

I am using Win7 64bit but as to other software, I'm not sure, I'll try installing on my laptop where I have a better idea of what's going on.

I get the "Unable to add mounting point. The parameter is incorrect." error when I try to set up the path for the LDD brickset includes. -Nathan

So for whatever reason, the CBFS didn't install on my machine.

http://ldd2povray.lddtools.com/ "Brick geometry data are the property of the LEGO Group of companies and are subject to copyright. POV-Ray™ include files contain enhanced versions of brick geometries used by LDD. Since include files are plain text files LDD to POV-Ray™ Converter uses Callback File System, virtual file system SDK for Windows provided by the EldoS Corporation to enable POV-Ray™ access binary includes without disclosing the brick geometry content." Unfortunately, the requirement to use the Callback File System renders this tool fairly useless among most people I think. Is there a legal workaround for this requirement? I'm not willing to pay for a license for this.

Contest: build your best hotrod ever
I agree with Ralph. There was more than enough time to build an entry for this contest. I think extending contest deadlines is unfair to those of us who abide by them. On a completely different note, is there no picture limit for posting over here? I know most Lego forums try to limit the pictures to 2 per post. I think that would be something to consider for those with less than speedy internets. Just an idea. Best of luck to everyone.

Contest: build your best hotrod ever
Wow! So many cool crazy cars in this contest. I am new here but I love building hot rods and couldn't pass up this opportunity to enter this contest. My entry is here. My friend Lino and I have started an online Lego car club over at Flickr.com. We're called LUGNuts and we're passionate about Lego cars, trucks and motorcycles. I think a few of you are already in the group and if anyone else here wants an invite to the group, shoot me an email at proudlove@gmail.com . Thanks for hosting this contest.

V-LV-17F Alright, here she is, the Dirty Ol' Rat. She don't look like much but she moves like a hurricane. Probably just as dangerous to drive too. Earl the horse enjoys long walks on the beach, picnic lunches and racing suckers for pinks! See ya on the street! pic=link to more pics
