Put an order in online to pick up from store this morning so I wouldnt miss out for the Horizon Express and the Kingdom Joust. Went into Myer Melbourne at lunch time and plently of everything available. Had about 20-30 Horizon Express, about the same of the mini modulars. Only about 5 Joust left, so at least I have mine ready to pick up next week. Going away for 3 days anyway so no big deal.

Unfortunately the Tolkien Estate have the rights for all remaining Tolkien work, and they are not selling them, so even if they wanted to make any more movies, if its not Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit then its not going to happen. They don't even have the rights to stories from Unfinished Tales including 'The Quest for Erebor' which goes into more details on why Gandalf was interested in the Dwarves quest. It is also the reason for the joke in the Hobbit movie where Bilbo asks Gandalf about other Wizards and Gandalf mentions that he cant remember the names of the other two 'Blue Wizards'. This is because they are only refered to in name in Unfinished Tales.

Just got email from amazon.uk that the 5 Hobbit sets they had (no Barrels) have shipped! Hopefully I'll have them early next week, which will go a small way to make up for the fact that we dont get the film until the 26th.

They had Buy one get 50% off second item on Star wars sets today, so grabbed Palpatines arrest and Hoth Echo base. For some reason I got the 50% the higher priced item so I got both item for $192 shipped. Here's hoping they show up quick and in good condition.

My order from Tarazz arrived today (actually it arrived on Wednesday but wasn't home to pick it up). Ordered on the 30th July and got shipping notice a week later. Not bad shipping speed especially compared to Barnes and noble. Came in two boxes, one for the fire brigade modular and one for a bunch of smaller items (7956 Ewok Attack, 7959 Genoshian Starfighter, 7913 Clone Trooper battle pack, 6865 captain America Cycle, 6867 Lokis cosmic Cube, 6866 Wolverines Chopper Showdown and 6868 Hulk Breakout) Smaller items were well packed with rolled up paper filling up the box, and the fire brigade in a fitted box. Unfortunately they were both strapped together which dinted the box slightly but not enought to complain. All in all very happy with the order. Especially as was only $48 shipping for the lot! Looks as though they have changed their shipping prices so will have to check them out before ordering again from them.
