So clean and presentable, just like a real palace. Interestingly, it has an Arabic feel to it. You know, Prince of Persia/Aladdin sort of vibe. Such a terrific build!
  2. When Disney studios purchased Lucasartfilm, they essentially canceled all the books, tv shows, comic, movies.. etc. As of moment of purchase in May of 2012, only original six episodes and (2008-2014) Star Wars The Clone Wars were left canon. Now they are creating a single timeline using books, comics, new movies, and tv shows. Quite frequently they are cherry picking some characters, vehicles, locations, concepts...etc. from the expanded universe, that is now considered Legends. It is just make sense that a lot of Lego sets at the moment are not considered canon anymore, as it will never be or just have yet to be introduced into the canon timeline. For example, the entire line of sets based on the Old Republic is not canon, as The Old Republic is not part of the Disney "canon" timeline.
  3. Also, not long ago we thought that we won't see another Clone Wars set, yet here we are (75168) with Yoda's starfighter. Not to speak of (75087) Anakin's starfighter that was released two years ago, and was based on Star Wars: Clone Wars (short 2D animated show, that not many remember), was released over a decade prior to the set release. So is last year's Shadow Troopers battlepack. I don't think LEGO cares much about what's considered canon and what isn't.

Nice one. Especially the second, darker version. After all, he [BATMAN] works only in black, and sometimes very, very dark grey. :)
  5. Hm, have this vehicle been canonized? As in, is it considered canon as part of the Disney timeline, or is just part of the Legends nowadays. I definitely remember seeing in the Battlefront II, and I think that was it. Or am I missing something?
  6. TheRacker, at one point we probably will. After all, we are getting two quite obscure sets from the Force Awakens for the summer wave, despite not having a single TFA set in the fall and winter waves. I guess same thing is going to happen with the Rogue One. We'll get more sets eventually.
  7. It's nice to get Thrawn one way or another. Dave Filoni, probably didn't know whether or not Thrawn would have a title of grand admiral title during the rebels timeline., not until Timothy Zahn confirmed that he is writing new Thrawn novel. At least now, one could safely argue that for the first time we are getting a star wars minifigure that is solely based on a book, as new Thrawn novel is going to be set prior to the events of 3rd Rebels season and will tell a story of Thrawn receiving his infamous title.
  8. Finaly Batman sets from movie! Must have!!!
