  1. It's nearly perfect, bravo Jerac:)
  2. Hi Guys i'm bumping this thread a bit, because I have taken the long road to build a Tyrant like too. Here is the baby in my hand:)
  3. Aye, will do, maybe this sunday if I can.
  4. yes you did, thanks again:) I'm not there yet though:)
  5. As Raskolnikov said, removing one beam helps. I have finished building this skeleton and I have made only one rib every 14 pin, and it helds the structure so far perfectly. Needed to say now that I have finished this part and began to work on the outer wall, I can see how massive the ship is :)
  6. Here is the quick view of what I did so far with the part of the ISD I've chosen to work on. Don't ask me why I have chosen this part instead of working from the start, I really did just follow my inspiration. I did ask months ago Rasko if he don't mind me trying to build the ISD, and as he didn't mind and really helped me a lot with hints, here is the result I miss some grebblings parts, but so far I'm quite happy, and it was incredibly fun to build....destroy, build, destroy etc :) Now I'm working on the command tower and the level 2 of the ship, progress is faster than I could imagine I'll take pics asap if you guys don't mind seeing a rookie ISD tyrant copy.
  7. not far, as it has been decade since I have last build something that complex, I have chosen to first recreate the upper section, to understand how the exterior and interior are made (through my understanding of course:) ), so I'm done with the top section of the hull located to the back of the ship (the part beneath the command deck). Progressing from the top to the bottom is kinda uncommon and dumb, but I know I'll have to build/rebuild/build/rebuild anyway, so I did it the way I felt it ;) And even if I do have a load of parts from previous things I have build, grebbles wise I had to order several bricklink orders, and since I'm in Réunion island, things are slooooooow when it come to ordering from outside, so I need to be calm, like really calm when it comes to handle the waiting lol
  8. I'm building it with the pictures as a guide, I do take my time because it's totally for fun and pleasure, and I'm learning a hell lot of things by just thinking how things work etc etc. it's really really long term thing, but that ISD is so stunning that I had to, it'll take me a year or two I don't care:)
  9. aye, just the interior was done, it was suprising to say the least:). Quite a challenge would be to create a complete falcon around that, without getting that much onto details, because they went really far creating an amount of areas with cables and stuff that would be anyway, covered by a "normal" falcon MOC. It would be quite a beast.
  10. It's perfect, accurate, beautifull, curved like kate upton (whoops:D), it's what the ucs could look like in the future (if there's a future:)) Chapeau bas, marshal_banana sensei:)
  11. really nice one:)
  12. those are beyond cuteness factor:) despite they don't have any cate upton curviness that is:)
  13. indeed it was the 8x8, sigh:) ok, thanks for the reply, I'll be going that way, my at-at is in....not destroyed, but just the next and the body are still built, I went kinda frustrated:)
  14. How have you managed to get such a low price, considering the high price of the light bluish grey dish 6x6? :/
  15. The legs supports the body wtihout a problem, I even have strengthen the structure a lot, and it wasn't a problem. the issue is more about the building order, it's better to have the two flank of the body installed before putting the body on the legs, because they do are strong enough, but not friendly with horizontal movement so to say:)
