  1. That was a short and unnecessary post.

I think it would ruin the lay-out of some forums. For instance, the pirate forum has way too much subforums in my opinion. I like the place the moc forum has now :-).

I used a similar technique once, you don't need glue, friction gets the job done.
  4. I have to agree it's overrated crap after hearing it more then one time. Commercial, soulless music only recorded to make money.
  5. Akira. Watched again to try and answer some questions I had after the first time. As a result, I liked it even better this time around. A true classic!

Don't let him bribe you, that means less sets and pastries for us! :-P
  7. Happy birthday guys! SW4J, those were yesterday's birthdays. It's still January 6th in your timezone ;-)
  8. You could just get Aquaraiders en ExoForce sets off Bricklink, of course. I would suggest against Pick-a-brick since Bricklink usually is cheaper and the selection is much, much larger. As for sellers, that's your own choice. I tend to pick sellers located in my own country, so I doubt those would be of any use to you since shipping would be high. Picking a seller depends on the pieces you want, the shipping costs and their feedback rating (at least that's how I pick them). I'm pretty sure there are shops out there selling huge quantities of bulk orders, so I suggest you just search for a piece you want and sort on quantity. Usually the shops with most bricks also have tons of others.

I thought it was a fish... I think these 'fruit sets' are Kabaya exclusives by the way.

The disc launcher looks really out of place. Other then that, it's pretty good (although I still think it's a terrible color scheme, but that's TLC's fault ;-) )

    Then what about Phes? :-D

    Happy birthday :-D
  13. How about sharks?
  14. I love the front of that bulldozer. And I'm not even into Technic!
  15. The ferry wheel screams "K'nex" to me. Terrible. The house looks good, but isn't something I'd buy. Same for the dinosaur/dragon.
  16. Saw Deja-vu wednesday. Too much plot holes at the end for my liking, but it was quite entertaining :-)
  17. No. Why? Because TLC is a company. A company needs profit. And one of the ways to keep customers happy(and reach new ones), is to renew your product constantly. Secondly, it would be constly to produce old sets (which would also lower profit). Finally, most products have a limited availabilty time because at some point, the product just won't sell anymore. Lego sets are no exception. It's all about the money in the end...
  18. The JSF is crap. Just another color, and I don't like the Hyperdrive Ring at all. The only reason to get it would be Kit Fisto. Which means I'll likely end up with one in the end. The original MTT is one of the sets I missed, but the new one doesn't look that good to me. Since it'll likely be pricey, I'll probably skip on this one. Like the new Destroyer Droid though. The Naboo Fighter looks really good, and is the only set out of these I really want. Too bad they had to include another Droid Fighter. It'll just cost more and I already have a Droid Fighter and Vulture Droid anyway.

I like the last one, it has a nice Gundam-look to it. The others are so-so.

I have to agree with Sne. Looks like some nice orange and lime parts packs though...
  21. Just wondering, but how do you set up a forum at Freewebs?
  22. Bricklink should have everything you need.
  23. You should keep them MISB and sell them in a couple years. SW sets really get more expensive after a while...
  24. V for Vendetta. Again. I liked it just as much as the first time around, great movie! I also watched The Discovery of Heaven, which is pretty good (but the book is even better ;-))
