Ghost Towns
If I remember correctly, Bodie was abandoned in the 1930's. It was a mining town, and the mine ran empty, so everybody left since there was no work anymore. I doubt there are much towns from the Wild West remaining, unfortunately.

iPhone in the UK
Can you edit the size of the symbols when typing a text message? I played with the iPhone while in the US in July, and my fingers were just too big to not touch at least 2 or 3 different symbols, resulting in unreadable text messages. I might get one if they decide to offer it pre-paid. It would be a waste to pay 40E or something a month if I'm not going to call that much. I suppose you meant innovators? The early adopters usually doesn't buy a product untill it gets a pricedrop. Anyway, that's the risk you take for being an innovator. You know that people who get it later will pay less. The PS3 is another good example. There's really no reason to complain about pricedrops if you ask me. Besides, it's not the innovators that matter to a company, but the early adopters, since those are the ones that tell their friends and lead to more people buying the product.

What game are we playing at the moment?
- Ghost Towns
As promised:- What are you listening to?
Interpol - 5 Going to see them tomorrow X-D- Ghost Towns
I visited the ghost town of Bodie (in California if I remember correctly). Pretty cool, I loved all the dead machinery lying all over the place and the buildings which looked like they could collapse every moment. I have some pictures lying around if anybody's interested.- What game are we playing at the moment?
Assassin's Creed. Hyped, and probably in a bad way. It's a good game, but it gets a tad repetitive and I've actually had it hang on my quite a bit too often (on my PS3). Still, the atmosphere is awesome and freerunning/parkours works like a dream.- 11/13/07!!!!
Those chords from Stairway are very widely spread and used, so calling it stealing would be farfetched. The Page solo is what makes Stairway anyway. About the rest, some are indeed quite obvious, although I don't see what's wrong with Dazed and Confused, seeing as how Page was in that band too. For those who still think Led Zep just stole all their music, I suggest listening to their live album How the West was Won and find out that Jimmy Page really was a genius.- What are you listening to?
Alice Cooper - Elected- What are you listening to?
Frankie goed to Hollywood - Watching the wildlife- What are you listening to?
Alice Cooper - School's out- What game are we playing at the moment?
Just got Assasin's Creed (PS3) :-D- What are you listening to?
Spinvis- In de staat van narcose Dutch music which is kinda poetic at times. Just about the only artist who sings in Dutch that I actually like.- whats your fave film/tv car?
The Bluesmobile from The Blues Brothers. Great movie, great chases, great idea to have them use a crappy old police car.- What was the last movie you watched?
- What would you grab if...
Personal belongings (wallet, phone, stuff with strong sentimental value) > iPod/digital camera (since they're small) > Clothes > PC > LCD TV > Games > DVD's > CD's > Consoles > (School) books > Lego (yes, last of all). And then my room would be pretty empty. Should be doable within 10 minutes though, since most of the stuff isn't too big. It would suck though, as my collections are worth quite a lot after a couple years of collecting.- What was the last movie you watched?
Saw a couple lately: The Hitcher. Absolutely awful, it was that we were watching it with a couple of people and were just laughing at how bad it was. En un momento dado. More a documentary, really. Too much talk, too little football. Click. Started off quite nice, but became just as worse as The Hitcher about halfway (after the 'fast-forward'). Citizen Kane. Not quite what I'd expected. A bit too well, boring, at times. Conversations just seemed to take a tad too long and appear a tad too aften. Still, seeing as how it's almost 70 years old, a pretty good movie for that time. From Dusk till Dawn. Ah, Tarantino at his best. I love how the movie just turns completely upside down halfway and turns from a (good) gangster/crime movie into a (just as good) zombie slasher. I also love Clooney's acting in this (back from the days he wasn't that famous yet).- What game are we playing at the moment?
Nothing at the moment, really. I just finished Resistance: Fall of Man (meh, nothing special, but I don't like shooters that much anyway), and I don't really feel like playing my other PS3 game, Motorstorm, anymore either. But when Assasin's Creed hits the stores this week, I'll be playing that for sure :-D I also need to pick up Metroid Prime 3 and PES2008 (I've played PES6 hundreds of hours last year), but AC is definately my priority right now.- 11/13/07!!!!
*Pops in How the West was won again* Much better to listen to Led Zep live at their best (early 70's). At least Bonham was still alive and Plant's voice was still totally awesome.- favorite sports team
See my picture (if anybody even recognises it) ;-)- What are you listening to?
Tool - Rosetta stoned- The Simpsons Movie *SPOILERS*
Did you see Hillary Clinton in the opening Itchy/Scratchy cartoon? :-P - Ghost Towns
