42202 Ducati Panigale V4S
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling... and everything that shows this is a Ducati Panigale V4S is put on stickers (including the plaque).

42207 Ferrari SF-24
R0Sch replied to Auroralampinen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSo proper width tires were possible for Icons as well. Technic fans don't deserve it. We can't have everything perfect or there wouldn't be anything to complain, right?

42207 Ferrari SF-24
R0Sch replied to Auroralampinen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingDo you seriously expect remotely operated functions other than steering in a 230€ Technic set? This is a display model for people who never bought a LEGO set in their life after all.

42207 Ferrari SF-24
R0Sch replied to Auroralampinen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAKA if they can get away with equal tires and people still buy it, why not do it again?

42202 Ducati Panigale V4S
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI didn't want to post the specific brand and model here to let you guys research yourself, but since most people just find excuses for LEGO's laziness, here are the facts of this particular V4S model: Stepper included, gearbox and fake engine, even comes with lighting and no excessive amount of system bricks... There's also a review from a guy named Don available on YT.

42202 Ducati Panigale V4S
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHalf the price and 600 pcs more with correct rims and slick tires of course, but the biggest selling toy company couldn't do it for it's premium licensing partner.

42199 Monster Jam DIGatron & 42200 Monster Jam ThunderROARus
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingLol. The replacement tires cost more than the set itself.

42202 Ducati Panigale V4S
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingCould have at least chosen a different model like the Superleggera or Diavel instead of another all-red Panigale V2. And they do a ton of recolored parts for stupid botanical flowers, but cannot recolor one azure gear for a high priced collectors set like this?! Even a tan 20T double bevel would have looked miles better. And what's with the lazy BMW rims and tires third time in a row? Every other company will decrease the price the more parts are manufactured, but only LEGO keeps increasing the prices even after the tooling costs have been covered.

42199 Monster Jam DIGatron & 42200 Monster Jam ThunderROARus
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHate it when LEGO "cancels" and shortly after resumes a collection but somehow different/improved. Now all the previous Monster Jam sets look bad without the tractor tires... I'd rather have seen new wider balloon tractor tires with bouncy rubber compound but at this rudimentary level of detail it makes no sense.

2025 Technic Sets Discussion
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingFound not founded. ;) So it already costs 10$ more than initially listed. We can assume that it will be 1:5 scale and red, hopefully not some race version with lots of stickers.

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
They really made the whole thing supported on one single off-center Technic pin. Pretty sure this is "stressing the elements". P.S. I updated my Studio model: Gasganos_podracer.io Partlist available on rebrickable here, total cost on PaB 21€

Future LEGO Pirates Set Speculation
Apparently these will be upcoming insider rewards. The "chronometer" was already available for limited time yesterday during a live stream which I missed. :(

2024 Technic Sets Discussion
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSilly me. Don't know how I missed that, probably because I didn't think to look at the 2025 posting for a 2024 set. ;) Your build makes total sense. I'll crawl back to my corner of shame now. :)

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
Here's the Studio file of the DS2024 build with some necessary placeholders due to missing parts in library (e.g. baby owl, large flask, coin, torsos, rubber capes, heads): DS2024.io

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
https://jaysbrickblog.com/news/ultra-exclusive-castle-lego-set-design-seminar-2024/ There is a QR code for the digital building instruction. The only exclusive new parts are the two torsos and the sign. I'm gonna rebuild it in Studio and post the file here later today.

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
I know, but without the second support the engine wouldn't float in the air... unless the leg is really included. Can't see that from the one image.

2025 Technic Sets Discussion
R0Sch replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThat skid-steer loader will come in paper (based) packaging, not a polybag. At least it still has some nice artwork. Hopefully not in the same shitty quality as the Blue Ocean paper bag prints.

General Part Discussion
R0Sch replied to Polo-Freak's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSome interesting parts & colors since I last posted a list here. For instance, the liftarms joints are not color locked to lbg+dbg any more and had been recolored to red+dark red to match the dragon. And we have green and pink knob gears too thanks to the botanical sets. Makes me wonder why axles and pins can't be made to match the sets color scheme too?
