  1. As suspected, the shift drum is not simply a recolor but a new part with aligned axle holes. The new suspension forks are made of a softer material so there is no risk of cracking them on off-road terrain or rough play. Overall a nice parts pack albeit in a new color that will not be useful to MOC'ers with large part collections.
  2. One would think that at least at nearly 1:1 scale LEGO would get rid of the ugly blue pins and yellow axles, but they have to stick to their brand values lol.
  3. I've fixed the diff in my Studio model. Right photo is from dylanchow's IG.
  4. What rare rings? Just because they haven't been used in a set in this color yet, doesn't make them rare. The part out value of this GWP is 30€, I checked. You can easily rebrick it and it's still cheaper than the discount you will save if you buy the McLaren later on.
  5. Yes, you are right. Forgot to fix that end of the diff. to the frame.
  6. On lego.com -> Bricks and Pieces and search for set number in either the element nr. or set nr. field. The newest sets are not yet listed.
  7. Here's my reverse engineered GWP. Probably 99% accurate: 5008946.io And the mechanism:
  8. Maybe this video will answer your questions:
  9. Thanks! Brb with a rebuild of it. :)
  10. I just saw a brick built 1:8 (and 1:24 scale) Honda F1 Oracle Red Bull Racing set using the cool Pirelli tires from CaDA with yellow printing now. Wonder if this is the reason why the Alfa Romeo gets discontinued. A real pity this is not a CaDA licensed model but a Rastar set. Looks like the Chinese are starting to copy themselves now or they use the same parts manufacturer.
  11. Without that you couldn't call it a premium flagship hypercar lol.
  12. There are 2 per wheel so a total of 8. Top bends downwards, bottom bends upwards. Here is a better look from one of the prototypes shown at the RLFM VIP unveiling:
  13. It's the same suspension arm 8x and yes, 7L as mentioned before.
  14. Looks like the exclusive laser-etched codes will be present as well, for that premium Certificate of Authenticity and those high quality wallpaper you get for free for 450 bucks. ;)
  15. Can't tell if the shift drum profiles are exactly the same or not, maybe they just changed the 45° axle misalignment. Unboxing and pictorial building steps + review (turn on auto-generated subtitles with auto-translation): No, of course it wasn't at you lol.
  16. It's OK, I also speak Hungarian :D. My point was that The LEGO G500 model doesn't really look like the 2024 face lift version. The front bumper, headlights and grille and the color would also suggest the older "final edition" model. But who knows what chimera they ended up modeling in the end.
  17. Except this is NOT the 2024 model but the 2022 version, it was posted a few pages before by others as well. That one has a V8 option. Besides, the 2024 version also has a V8 in the AMG G 63 so it's not like Mercedes discontinued the engine and switched to L6 only. Everyone was hoping for the beefier 4x4^2 anyway. https://www.auto-data.net/en/mercedes-benz-g-class-model-1364
  18. It doesn't or else they would brag about it in the product description. The promotional video is just very deceitful. Nothing more. Uwe designed the V-TOL Spaceship for this year. You can check out my bricklists on brickset.
  19. So how come it wasn't an issue in any of the previous, smaller Technic sets? If a proper L6 doesn't fit in the car there is always the option for a V8, which this car also comes equipped with, meaning 4 studs shorter. If there is a will, there is always a way. Also, we are long past the excuse that these are "only toys with abstract proportions". Everything labeled 18+ and over 150 bucks is clearly meant for adult builders. Otherwise why would they even bother to close up the bodywork? The actual reason is that the functions are secondary to the display value / look, or else we wouldn't see something as dumb as a manually operated diff lock by turning the model upside down.
  20. Do you guys even read through the comments before you post the same thing over and over again?
  21. @Ngoc Nguyen All I see is a pretty lame influencer video. For a proper speed build see Brick Depot's one posted earlier. It's orange because the profile is probably different from the Yamaha's. And there are two in total.
  22. Did anyone mention the new black wishbone suspension arms (7M wide)? And yet still no realistic caster angle or trapezoidal steering linkage possible?!
  23. Bright Light Orange (aka 47 - Flame Yellow Orange, FBAB18) also confirmed as the set's main color.
  24. Well, I already named it #7 so if LEGO wants to use the same name, tough luck, it's copyrighted now. Of course I am willing to negotiate for the right price. ;)
  25. @GooberReboot is right of course. This new connector probably has a 15° angle. Don't think LEGO would do something like half increments of 22.5° (11.25°).
