  1. I could see them throwing in the hyperspace booster ring as well to make the build a bit more substantial. Otherwise, I'm expecting it to be a bit oversized.
  2. I'd recommend waiting a bit on BLing the new Han. He'll probably be extremely expensive at first since he only comes in this set, but we already know we're getting his jacketless variant in the Skiff next year. We'll probably get this exact Han in another set very soon, and it'd be much cheaper to get him that way (or you could get his hair from the Desert Skiff and put it on Han from the Mos Eisley Cantina).
  3. Darn, I was really hoping it'd be entirely based off of A New Hope. The Return of the Jedi parts and figures of this set will be pointless for the people who already own the Death Star Final Duel set.
  4. No offense to Amazingbricks because I know he's been right with things before, but the Yoda's Hut rumor that also came from him didn't pan out. So can we be sure his source was correct with this information? Maybe we aren't getting Zeb, and the only Rebels set we're getting is the Phantom 2.0? Don't get me wrong, I'd love another Zeb and more Rebels sets, but it seems like this piece of information should be taken with a huge grain of salt.
  5. Where did the rumor of another Zeb figure come from?
  6. Maybe the wings on the preliminary minifigure were just representing Kamala Khan's stretch powers? I think the winged figure is actually just her. I'm expecting Steve Rogers Cap to be inside the Jet because someone obviously needs to pilot it.
  7. The last one was $25. I think this one might be worth the price if they make the Sarlacc a lot bigger (since it was sort of small in the $25 Skiff).
  8. No Bane would be really surprising and disappointing. Even if he were to appear in the summer wave, he seems like one of the main rogues that LEGO would want to get out into a set as soon as possible. Could it be possible he's in a retail exclusive set (considering that he really isn't in this first wave)?
  9. I'm both surprised and really happy that we're getting another Clone Wars set! It's been nearly two years since we last got one, so I thought they were long gone, but it's good to see that LEGO's still pulling designs from there. There's a lot of good potential from it.
  10. So is the set with Yoda and R2 actually his Jedi Interceptor...? Even though no hut is disappointing, Yoda's interceptor is at least something new that I'd be fine with.
  11. I'm happy that Ahsoka's lightsaber blades are actually that paler blue color. It looks much better than the dark blue from the leaked figure! I still wish she had regular eyes instead of those full blue ones, but other than that I'd say she's one of the best figures of the year.
  12. So I guess Zeb is in that mystery Rebels set with 3-4 figures? Hopefully we'll get an updated Ezra as well. I could see Maul being in that set too (maybe it could be his red Mandalorian starfighter), but then I'm hesitant that they'd put Maul in two sets in one wave.
  13. Thrawn in what is probably a cheap set? Yes, please! The figures for the Microfighters are listed too... if I had to guess, I'd say the one with a Rebel Pilot is the U-Wing and the one with a TIE Pilot is the TIE Striker.
  14. if LEGO was willing to make a new color for Ahsoka's lightsaber blades, then why did they make them the wrong color...? They really should have gone with trans clear. Other than that, I really like the look of the figure. I don't even mind the reuse of Shaak Ti's headpiece. She's not 100% accurate to her appearance, but it looks close enough to be easily recognizable.
  15. I love how this set is sort of like an oversized Mighty Micro set. I understand the price for it as well, because it's got lots of large pieces (like the wheels, and in a new color). And then there's obviously the two big figs. The Rancor Pit set from Star Wars had a similar piece count and the same price, and that came out back in 2013. I'm sure this will go on sale pretty quickly too. Just look at the Avenjet set from this year, that was $60 but I've constantly seen it on sale for $50 recently.
  16. Actually, I think Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator came out August 1st, while TFA sets came out on September 4th for Force Friday. The Rebel Combat Frigate will probably release in August, and then we'll get the Rogue One sets on September 30th for this year's Force Friday.
  17. Yeah, this is really disappointing... this set also broke the $90 summer exclusive price trend that's been going on for the past five years. If they were really dead set on making it $110, then we could have at least got some more figures (Seventh Sister... ). At this point I guess I'll just wait for a sale. Bricklink prices for Star Wars minifigures have unfortunately been getting worse and worse lately. Luminara from the new Clone Turbo Tank, which is the same price as the Combat Frigate, is currently going for $25+. I'm shuddering thinking about Ahsoka costing $30 or even more on her own... and at that point it'd probably be better to just buy the set.
  18. The Airport Battle is definitely my favorite Superhero set of all time. The Bridge Battle is probably my second favorite this year (although the Doctor Strange set might have a good chance of getting up there too).
  19. I agree that LEGO's been sort of lacking on Star Wars minifigures recently (not in quality though, but quantity). Star Wars seems to be the theme with the least number of minifigures in larger sets. The TIE Advanced vs. A-Wing is probably the biggest culprit of this; it only has four figures in a $90 set. The Bridge Battle set from Marvel is only $10 more and has seven figures. It'd just be nice to get some more figures in these larger, more expensive sets. For what it's worth though, I think Star Wars is the theme with the best looking figures, so that's likely the cause for there being less of them.
  20. I agree. Then the two biggest sets would be the U-Wing and maybe that 4-winged Imperial Landing Craft. The biggest set is only around 800 or 900 pieces though, and the Landing Craft looks like it's twice the size of Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle, so if it is this 900 piece set then I'm curious how they'll pull it off. Even if it was changed last minute, it probably wouldn't have made a difference since LEGO uses concept art (just look at Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle).
  21. I think it came out right before, but your point still stands. I guess we are just getting Rex's AT-TE now. My main fear is that LEGO won't think the Seventh Sister will be popular enough to put in a set 6 months from now.
  22. I like the ship; it's something different and unique and it looks like it's got space for a decent interior. The lack of the Seventh Sister is disappointing though, because now our chances of ever getting her have dropped by a lot. Ahsoka did need a new mould, but I don't mind the Shaak Ti headpiece. I'm just disappointed that they're making her eyes entirely blue... (why can't LEGO ever give Ahsoka plain minifigure eyes?)
  23. I'm so happy that they completed the teams with this figure roster! I'll definitely be picking this up. I was doubting we'd get Vision because I thought they'd want to keep him exclusive to the Quinjet, but I'm definitely not complaining about this.
  24. Whatever it is, I think it's going to be fairly scaled down. The summer exclusive sets for the last several years have all been $90 (Sith Infiltrator, MTT, Defender Class Cruiser, Palpatine's Arrest, etc.), so this set will most likely be around that price. I remember all of the complaints about the MTT being scaled down, so hopefully people temper their expectations to a "frigate" which might not be very large.
  25. I don't think that implies a lackluster set at all. Ahsoka would be the main selling point of almost any set she was included in. To many, the Grand Inquisitor was the main selling point of the TIE Advanced Prototype, but that doesn't mean the TIE was bad. Since this set is apparently a freighter, I'm going to guess it'll be the Hammerhead one. I wouldn't be surprised if Ezra's included as well since he's currently not available in any sets.
