  1. I think I remember hearing Kozu, Pythor, Jay, and Lloyd were in the Samurai X Cave... would that mean Cryptor and Wu are in the Temple Grounds set, then? I'm really surprised they didn't bring Samukai back. Although, from a selfish point of view, I'm okay with it since I bought his figure separately sort of recently.
  2. I'm guessing the only special figures for the Advent Calendar are those three listed, and not any TFA ones (although I was really expecting Santa Kylo Ren or Snowball BB-8). It's a bit surprising to me that it doesn't seem to be TFA-based, but I'm not complaining because chrome 3PO and snowy Chewbacca sound great!
  3. I think the price on the TIE Advanced is way too good to be true... I mean, that's cheaper than the last TIE Advanced, which was sold on its own.
  4. I'm going to guess that the minifigures in the AT-TE are the three clones, Zeb, and Ezra. I'm not as sure about the last two, but the three clones should pretty much be a given. The Encounter on Jakku sounds great! Maybe a bit expensive, but we have yet to see the set so I shouldn't complain. Two BB-8s in one wave again is a bit annoying for those who already have two of him from the first wave, but since he's so awesome I guess it's excusable.
  5. If you're only collecting Ninjago right now, then definitely get Jay's Dragon. It's a much better value. The Batmobile looks a little lacking for a $30 set. If you really want a Batman figure, you could get the recently released Clash of Heroes set for $13 and get armored Batman and Superman. It's a pretty good value and it's quite cheap.
  6. Yeah, I don't get why they'd change War Machine's face when the old one was pretty much perfect. Does LEGO outsource prints? Because the Iron Man 3 sets have been retired now, so maybe it was cheaper to reuse a head with a darker skin tone that they already had in production?
  7. The X-Wing looks great, but as someone who owns Poe's X-Wing, I'm disappointed. Another Poe and BB-8 in the same set and a basic recolor is just too similar to me. Lor San Tekka and another Flametrooper will be great though, and I like that they added in some sort of structure.
  8. Captain Rex's AT-TE sounds great. Even though the last AT-TE was pretty recent, the one on Rebels is at least visually different enough to warrant a remake. And even though we won't have a proper Phase II Wolffe, this will likely at least give us his helmet! Ahsoka's got to be in Vader's TIE Advanced. Maybe the other mystery build could be a rebel vehicle of hers or something.
  9. I'd say it's almost definitely Captain Hook. Beaten to it. Maybe he could come with the clock as well?
  10. It's missing the sideburns, so I don't think it's Hux. Other First Order guys are seen wearing outfits similar to Hux's during the rally scene at Starkiller Base so I think it's probably one of them. The face looks to be a generic one.
  11. Hmm, for what it's worth, Poe's X-Wing isn't in the January LEGO catalogue. I don't know if that means much (all prequel and original trilogy sets are also missing), but it's a bit strange how it's the only Force Awakens set not in there. Maybe, since the set has sold so many copies already, LEGO plans on just letting it sell out early. Then the set will get sort of a soft remake with this new color scheme and different figure selection.
  12. I think Anakin's Podracer can be done really well for $25. While I don't know the exact piece count of the last one, I do own it, and Anakin's pod is pretty small. It's Sebulba's podracer that made the last set more expensive.
  13. Regarding the Encounter on Jakku set...
  14. I guess red makes sense since the only other series to have red was Series 7 from a few years ago. I honestly don't get why they still haven't done purple, though. I get that they probably will never do pink because it might shy away young boys from buying them, but purple's a gender neutral color. Whatever, the color of the series isn't really that important anyway; it's the figures in the series that matter.
  15. Rogue One will definitely get a decent number of sets. TV shows like Rebels and The Clone Wars have gotten tons of sets, and even video games like The Old Republic got some sets. I'm guessing Rogue One will have 4-6 sets releasing in either September or October. It won't be as big as The Force Awakens, but there will still be plenty for LEGO and other toy companies to capitalize on. Plus, didn't Brickset list like only four set numbers for summer sets? That would suggest that the summer wave will be small again next year because an additional movie wave will come out a couple months later.
  16. Meh, one helmet's good enough for me. Oh, you're right, awesome! Hmmm, I might have to do that when Bricks and Pieces opens up again after the holidays...
  17. Nice! Probably Sabine's Season 2 outfit. I guess I don't need to worry about getting the Gozanti for her helmet anymore.
  18. We just got Snake with an exclusive head mold in the Kwik-E-Mart this year, so I'd say the Batcave has a good chance of having a new mold as well.
  19. What happened to that rumored Anakin's Podracer set? Was it just a mistranslation or something?
  20. I think Han and Chewie's freighter with a Rathtar and a couple of the Guavian Death Gang guys would be a pretty cool set. Not to mention it's one of the only vehicles that LEGO hasn't made yet. The only problem would be the scale. Maybe LEGO can do something similar to what they did with the Imperial Assault Carrier this year and give us a mini Falcon in the set.
  21. I think the sets do a really good job of complementing the figures. I'm very surprised we're getting the Mighty Eagle, but I'm not complaining since he looks really cool! And I really like that hot dog bun mold, especially because the hot dog's still removable from it.
  22. I bet most AFOLs are going to hate those, but I actually like them. I don't use this term a lot for LEGO, but I think they're sort of cute. At the very least, their cartoony heads makes it easier for me to accept their short legs.
  23. Nice job, that totally looks like something LEGO would make. It reminds me a lot of the Garbage Compactor set from Toy Story. It's just unfortunate that there are so few Star Wars play sets.
  24. Huh, that's really strange. They just recently had it where if you bought the Temple of Airjitzu you'd get a free Enter the Serpent set (which I took advantage of ). It's weird how they're doing this again with a different $50 set. What does everyone think the reasoning for it is? Could the Temple of Airjitzu not be selling well? I'd assume that's not the case since it's such a beautiful set, but I've never seen LEGO have such a good bargain like this twice in a row before.
  25. I think the list is alright, and I understand the reasoning behind the lack of certain characters. My only problem with LEGO saving prominent characters like Goofy for Series 2 is that we'll most likely have to wait until 2017 for that. So it's a long way out. I'm also really surprised that the new dress piece most likely won't be used. It's timing with the new Queen seemed to coincide perfectly with this series and for some princess characters.
