Do you have any knowledge regarding the protection in the 8878? If I bypass the limiter will that damage the sBrick? PS. I'd be more than happy with a 2 hour cut off. I'm lucky if they are still on the table for an hour. lol
  3. I've stuck with you this long. I can wait little longer. ME large radius track is fantastic but I do crave metal for powered track.

I'm running train motors off a sbrick and powering using a 8878. It runs fantastic for a time and then shuts off. Not sure if this is current load or heat, by the Sbrick or 8878? I turn everything off and wait a short time and I can turn it all back on and it works again (for a time). So it's not the motors sucking the battery flat. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. The xmas holidays is one of the few times each year I get enough spare time to build. Soon. For now here's an LDD Xmas Tree

  10. Delays were caused by UPS not delivering to a Post Office. Which is ironic considering the function of a post office. Anyway they turned up at an alternative address without delay and I have been enjoying experimenting with this system. Hope to report on some findings soon.

  14. Ordered a few in July as well. Had an email in August stating there was a problem with the box printing. Guess we just have to wait and see.

  23. Thanks for the forum syntax to Embed video. I search everywhere looking for that information. I build lots of different kinds of MOCs and have a few carnival rides now. The gear boxes are quite a challenge. Speaking of new themes I started by putting the dodgems on Cuusoo. If they go ok I'll put some more there. I made a video of the trip to Melbourne. It has a few interesting time lapse recordings, like the coaster being packed and later assembled. The first couple of minutes is more about the trip but you get to see some of the Australian countryside. The show itself was excellent.
