  1. Yes very well done, I'd love to see it integrated into the Arocs to see how well it performs on the chassis and with the bed
  2. I must say this is awesome :) I have built your 6x6 modular truck n that was a good complex n challenging build, but I'm looking forwRd to (hopefully!!) getting instructions for making this beauty to sit alongside the modular truck n the Arocs when I get it at Christmas :)
  3. Effe, would you take us through what you did with the crane and how effective it was, thanks
  4. Effe, have your tried your new outrigger parts on the Arocs set yet and how well do they look and function in comparison to the current outrigger setup? How would you motorise the larger one? Thanks
  5. @LennyRhys, nice to se the progress my friend :) As for selling, I'd set yourself up an email specifically for selling the buckets (that way you won't get your personal email spammed with requests), and have the people wanting to buy them email you a request there. From there you can either set up a new PayPal or email people with your PayPal details once you have worked out the costing, and just have everyone send u funds as to friends/family rather than goods/services as you won't lose anything in fees then. Then u just post out the kits when funds are in ur PayPal :)
  6. I'd definitely be interested in buying one! Have you considered making other sized buckets like narrower trenching buckets or the wider style grading/loading loading bucket? I think they would be excellent additions and would be interested in them certainly
  7. I have a version of jurgens link belt which is currently fitted with the four tine grab from the 42006 I would be happy to put it on and test functionality for you (I am in London too). Send me a pm if you want me to help out :)
  8. It's an awesome design, what's the cost to have them manufactured?
  9. Hi efferman, I saw on one of the arocs threads you were talking about a custom outrigger, is that something you designed yourself?
  10. Pure and utter genius, love it, and the video! Made my day that has, so thank you :)
  11. @Rishab see M_Longers post about three up about rebuilding to a standard rear tip...
  12. would you be making instructions for it?
  13. I tried it using pneumatics but it's not really possible with just the parts in the set alone. I think you would need a large LA in order to open close the bucket as a small one won't have the extension required to make the bucket curl. Plus you will need to rethink how the axle that would normally operate the claw would be positioned as it currently runs through the dipper part of the arm, where as it would need to be at the top of the dipper to activate the LA and cause the bucket to curl (see jurgens Zorex or belt link excavators for examples)
  14. That is awesome, are you going to make instructions? I would say that it actually has a better chassis design than 42043 Arocs... Especially with the outriggers. Maybe combine it with the Arocs crane and tipper :)
  15. It's similar to hans stone truck, and the B model from the 8285 tow truck.
  16. I don't mind the B models, some of them are pretty awesome, but I'm the type of person that builds the A model and displays it/plays with it and hardly if at all ever dismantles them (I will be dismantling a few though to make D3k's 6x6 truck). I just don't have the money to buy a second or third copy of the set to build and display the B model, effectively making it redundant for me at least
  17. @D3K yes it would appear to be so, I will go out on a limb here and say it is either a challenger 2 or leopard 2, but due to resolution I can't be any more sure
  18. If memory serves the indicated piece count is 2793, the highest of any technic set yet. It's guna cost £170 in Britain and yea I think it's around then 230-250 for the US
  19. I'm really liking the use of L motors over the M motor, I think it's a good step in the right direction
  20. I know dokludi has already done reverse engineer of it from the little pic, but I wonder if he will update it now the video is out?
  21. Couldn't agree more! My only "issue/gripe" is this....thank heavens we have new pieces and at last a clamshell grab...but is it me or do the halves of the clamshell look quite small and out of proportion, compared to say the claw pieces that were introduced on 42006?
  22. It would appear there are NO LA's on the Arocs, the dump bed is pneumatic...and yes it appears there is suspension too!
  23. For those that have not seen it...the video is now live!
