Grab designs using 42006 grab claws
gevans12 replied to gevans12's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThanks for the reply Alasdair, I wasn't looking for one in particular to be honest, I got some of the grab pieces cheap on eBay and wondered if anyone had done something inspiring with them :)

Grab designs using 42006 grab claws
Having seen uefchens kat cleaner, it got me wondering, have any of the resident geniuses on here managed to create any other grabs using the new 42006 claws, or have TLG designed the perfect one?... Your thoughts please :)

Instructions for a dump truck
Hi guys I was browsing brickshelf and came across the dump truck by Designer Han and it's awesome and comes with instructions... I was wondering If anyone else had made a decent dump truck and made instructions to go with it?? Many thanks :) Gareth

8063 question and recommended bricklink stores
Hi guys I've been floating around on this forum for a while now, picked up some good ideas for my 'Mog' off a number of people and have been very impressed by the likes of Effeman, Alaistair Ryan, Blackbird and many others. Now I recently acquired a second hand 8063 and it's awesome, however I do have one question...what's the gearbox in it for? No matter which way it's selected the differential in the rear wheels still operates the fake engine and seems to have no other visible function....is it me or am I missing something with if? Also, I'm on the hunt for some 1x5x11 panel plates to make a tipper bed for my 8292 cherry picker B model...anyone able to give me some reasonably priced and reliable bricklink suppliers? I have recently been buying parts from eBay, The Daily Brick and Brickbrower.co.uk... Any help would be awesome, thanks Gareth Ps keep on building you guys are awesome!

8110 - Unimog - MODs and Improvements
gevans12 replied to tripletschiee's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi guys I was wondering if any of you super modders would be kind enough to assist me. Sorry if I'm repeating stuff that was covered ages ago, but I would appreciate any help you guys could give with creating a side tipping bed for the unimog. I've been quite late to the party as I only got the set in September, but I have made some mods to the crane based on what I have seen on here, but it's finding a way to attach the bed so that it tips to the right away from the controls that's troubling me. If anyone could provide any advise or building help it would be much appreciated Gareth

8110 - Unimog - MODs and Improvements
gevans12 replied to tripletschiee's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi guys and gals! Im Gareth from London and new to these forums. I used to have lots of lego when I was younger, but have recently been getting back into it, having bought the flat bed truck, the mobile crane (8053) and the logging truck within the last 18 months ;) I have just bought the Unimog for my birthday and I have been looking at some of the posts previously about adding pneumatics to the stabilisers. I do have a question for those that have done it already and well, whats better...one ram or two, and at the bottom pushing sideways and down or placed vertically either side of the crane pushing down? Regards Gareth
