Both Baymax and the Coco figures were made by knockoff brands (btw also a pink Stitch), maybe Lego uses the inventory of knockoff brands as a research thing to see what’s the demand for? Baymax as a minifig doesn’t really work well though. The armored version works a bit better, but otherwise it would be a dull almost all-white minifigure. The Coco figures will have probably newly printed guitars and interesting prints on their body. So should be more interesting to get imho -
What’s up with silver figs? Who wants to have silver figs? That’s no fun, right?

There are a lot of characters in knock-off minifigure land for those that are interested in getting a lot more characters than lego will probably produce.

I am not really a Disney fan. I liked/loved some of the movies back when i was a kid, but i do like the line-up of this series. It even seems like when you’re not into Disney some of those figs might have potential for castle set-ups. Especially if you’re not all about realness, but more into a fantastical version of it. Stitch with four arms could be used in Space set-ups and Baymax as a space robot. So far my wants are: Robin Hood and Prince John, Queen of Hearts (probably with the wider dress piece), Stitch, Magical Mickey, Cruella deVille (how are they going to pull off the fur coat?), Pinocchio and Jimini (i hope they make a minifigure head with a long nose for pinocchio- oh wait, they probably reuse the snowman’s headpiece from the festive series for him). So quite a lot. If they are reusable for different purposes i want Dr Facilier, Pocahontas, Mulan (maybe she has cool asian warrior robes?) I think it’s a very good series and i hope there will be a set of Alice in Wonderland in the making. Robin Hood will never get a set i presume, but it has such great characters in it. I am glad we now get two of them, but i think i’ll keep missing all those others :-)

No series 7? :-( maybe this wave will round up the koopalings and bring the super mario sets to an end. I mean it is running pretty long and how many new features can you design for sets like these with play functions and great esthetics? The three main characters are covered by now, the main villain with its helpers as well (if the rest of the koopalings will join next wave). I really hope next wave will have some new enemies as well. two sets with over 1000 pieces. What could they be? Castles are that big. But we have the castle of Peach and Bowser. Maybe a big CatBowser tower? Pianta town? The Odyssey? as long as they make snifit

I have to play Mario Galaxy again. I loved those games. I hope they will make a Ghost Mario, although i can’t see how they would make that with the real mario in it. snow pokey, snow spike, frost piranha, mother penguin i want them all!

Yeah i’d like to see more para-biddybuds as well. Two different colors in a character pack, and two different colors in a set. i really hope we’ll see a Snifit one day, and i’d like to see some more shyguys in multiple colors. I can see them making a Charging Chuck too. Or a fishbone, or some eeries. But they did quite a few already. Who’s missing at this point? (Of course the mini bosses, but who else?)

Yeah, but i hope they won’t give us characters that are done before. Blooper is great because of the little bloopees (don’t know their names) and the Cat Goombas are great because i don’t really like to buy the tower. But i hoped they would have used some other character than bramball. We could have gotten a red bomb-omb with friendly tile instead, just to name a random character that would be an easy one for them to make

Are there any unboxing videos/images out yet of the new buildable character series? And specifically the order of who’s where in the boxes? I don’t know if i want all of them this time, but i really want Birdo and i want Ice Bro and Spike twice if possible

- It’s missing a Video Rental Store. There you can use your Vidiyo tiles as movies. Should include some movie-posters and cardboard cut-outs and fashion of the 80’s outfit. - Comic store. With a lot of comics, some pop culture toys and a back room (or upper floor) where they can play D&D. Maybe a small novelty shop next to it where you can buy all kind of weird and old stuff like a sword, an old book, a pixie in a cage. - an office space. Modern style, maybe skyscraper with cubicles. Maybe as corner building. The people of Octan can work there, or maybe some real estate agency with tiles of some apartment from older modulars. On the top floor lives a rich family. Randos need to work in an office somewhere - a game hall full with games. Old skool games, air hockey, pin ball, these sort of things. Full 80s vibe in this one Other ideas: a Laboratory, ghost house, a factory, a museum (art), another museum (dinosaurs, stuffed animals), a Mech workshop/garage/hangar with big doors,

It does make sense with the newspaper boy in the cmf. So it probably would be a 40s/50s newspaper HQ. I mean i love the daily bugle, but i would have loved that as a modular as well. But i get that it isn’t the right timing. from the interview i see that at first they actually had gangsters in mind, and the colorway was much more dark (especially the pizza place). Too bad, i would have loved that. If i ever am going to buy this set i’ll have to make some serious changes :-)

Still i think it needed more decoration inside the buildings. The pizzeria needed a topping poster or something like that. Maybe a tile with the tower of pisa on it. The tailer needs a mirror (it doesn’t have one, right?) and some glamorous ads. The Jazz club obviously needed posters with great lego jazz artists, or pictures of lego jazz artists that performed there. And the changing room needed a poster of a magician show and some extra tiles with jazz musicians on it.

I like the sets. I don’t really care for HP, but my wife likes it. Especially the books, and that suitcase/chest set, so probably also the banners. I hope she wants the one with that pixie in it personally i want the black lake set. That mermaid is super nice

Oh yeah slices. My bad! But it also looks like it has a new pizza tile, right? Plus the dark red doesn’t look very good from the outside, i get why they used it. It looks more like a dark jazz club that way and more like a club in the big. I just wanted to see some tiles with jazz musicians on the wall there. Of course people with a Jerry Seinfeld can let him perform there

There are new pics on insta with blurry inside shots. I like the positioning of the jazz band and the curtains, but it also seems a bit empty on places. Maybe it will look better on better pictures. and i secretly hoped for a pigeon cage on the roof (since magicians use pigeons too a lot)

I think lego thinks we only need venom, carnage, green goblin and sandman to fight spiderman. I just wish that all the fake lego makers produce more comic based marvel baddies (and heroes too) because lego won’t do it. btw what’s up with the advertorial banner on EB i’ve been seeing on top of the page since today?
