    Funnily a PAB wall inspired me for a Mod of the Lunar Lander set. (there was a bin with 1x2 dark gray tiles inside. Used them and a bunch of preexisting plates for expanding the base). So they have some Use, too

    You need to use external image hosting. the attachment file size is intended for the user profile picture

    Yeah, panels installed without any part pop for me.. Only part pop for me was at the bridge section when i was holding it wrong on clipping some stuff in.

    If done correctly the connection joints are intended to align without bending the plates. YOu "hang in" the lower joints and then click in the ball hinges at the outer edge. (Built the same set just a few days ago so the knowledge is still fresh)

    Do you have to "bend" the panel to insert it on the pegs at the central structure? You might have gotten a offbyone error hidden somewhere

    Vanillaforum software (for example used over at brickset forums) had a nice feature for this case: being able to "weigh" a thread by the mods which prevents replies from moving a thread up to the top of page 1.

    that one got me, too once... someone even quoted it before i noticed it myself, had to sneak in a ninja-edit to correct

    I modded my 10212 stand to use the landing gear "interface", it also got some bonus support due to its large wing facing a window and due to that being a wind-stopper
