  1. Check Big W and Kmart! Everything is at least a few bucks cheaper, but notably Big W has the Hut for almost $40 cheaper than the Lego stores! The boathouse is significantly cheaper too ($25)
  2. Where did the info on the June wave come from? I can't find it in the thread.
  3. Yes, I did see the original post.
  4. Not sure I understand the distinction. Do you mean we have other Snapes?
  5. What about Boggart Snape?
  6. I figure shop owners are pretty easy to add in from your own collection, as we don't know what a lot of them look like anyway. I'll probably just add a few generic wizards to be shopkeepers and/or customers. I'd much rather have known, relevant characters included than shopkeepers who barely get any screen time, if at all. We're lucky to get Fortescue.
  7. Just as a little English tidbit, "wake" refers to after an event. It would be more accurate to say we are on the eve of DA's release, just before it's happened. Not trying to criticise, just to help! :D Pretty good and simple wall, does the job. I'd love to see it with a sliding mechanism or something.
  8. I see, thanks. A bit like Han Solo's parka on Hoth then, too. I think I prefer Black anyway. It's not an attractive brown and I don't think it would translate well with Lego's palette.
  9. Good catch. What happened with 2018 Quirrell?
  10. I think when people say Forbidden Corridor, they mean the whole set of challenges, so also including keys, chessboard, mirror etc., which would be a bigger set. Just my interpretation.
  11. Glad I'm not the only one. I must have missed your posts, it's so hard to keep up in here :)
  12. Has it not occurred to anyone that maybe we haven't seen all the stickers? The leaked sheets look incomplete to me, especially the one with the green F&B stickers. Couldn't there be more out of frame?
  13. For sure, the right thing to do. Just expressing some support
  14. Your comment wasn't unreasonable. There are definitely some people here who could be a bit more polite.
  15. Just as a friendly heads up, I believe the word you're after is "aesthetic".
  16. You're right. I was recalling Dobby arriving on Harry's birthday in the book and Ron wishing Harry a happy birthday as they fly away in the movie. Canonically it was three days later on August 3, and Ron was just wishing a belated happy birthday. Anyway, my point still stands about the set representing multiple scenes. Much like sets taking place at Hogwarts Castle, there can be a big time gap.
  17. Dobby is here because the set represents multiple scenes. Dobby appears at Privet Dr the same day Harry escapes.
  18. @MaxHeadroom Just so you're aware, it's spelled "Yule" not "Ule". It means Christmastime.
  19. Very few people have true black hair. Despite that, I think black is absolutely the correct choice for Bellatrix AND Harry. The existing dark brown would just be too light. I also see it as Lego sticking to book canon. Harry's hair is described as black. Same as with Hermione's, which is described as brown.

I wouldn't mind a complete videogame edition, because we'd potentially get a new minifig with it. Although, I'm still hoping for a Visual Dictionary. Either covering both LotR and The Hobbit, or preferably, one book for each! It'd be a great way to get Old Bilbo, for example, and maybe a Thorin/Dwarf variation. If they did a Visual Dictionary for both themes, and a Hobbit videogame sequel, that's three new characters we could get... (although restricted because they can't use old moulds, but I don't mind). Plus the Bain figure, presumably with the DVD?
  21. Any sign of Series 13 minifigures anywhere? Specifically in the Sydney region?

Australian stock these last few months has been pretty horrible overall. Hobbit sets were supposed to come out in October (I can understand them delaying it in time for the movie), and yet the only place I've seen them was at Toys 'R' Us, where they did not have The Lonely Mountain, and had very little stock in general apparently, because there are now no Hobbit sets on the shelves! Also, Minecraft was supposed to be a December release, but no sign of that either. Shelves in places like Kmart, Big W and Target are being cleared of old sets, but they aren't replacing them with new ones! Very frustrating when you are looking for certain sets to buy in the Christmas sales, and you can't find them (even when they are due out).
  23. 6 sets? I thought there was only 5? Not complaining! I know the image shows "Jurassic World", but "Dilophosaurus Ambush" sounds to me like it could be Dennis Nedry's escape in the first movie... maybe just wishful thinking? Hopefully we get some images soon!
  24. Hadn't heard of Yularen before, but he'll definitely help to fill out my mostly-empty council room in 10188 Death Star. I love Hoth sets, but I wish they'd take a break sometime... I'd love some Bespin for a change instead. I'll most likely get the exclusive, hopefully it has enough new stuff in it, and not just a re-done and combined version of the previous base sets they've made.
