I've seen the 120 count boxes at Walmart as well. I haven't seen them for S10 yet but the one by me had a few of them from each series after 6 or 7 I think.

Even though the odds are clearly against finding him I definitely won't stop looking for the hell of it. When I first saw the promo pic of S10 I didn't have much interest in Mr. Gold, in my haste I didn't realize there were 17 figs. After I learned about him I will admit my completist side kicked in but that has faded with time, I haven't been collecting every fig and there are plenty of other exclusives I'd rather have than him.

First off, congrats! Secondly, I thought about what I would do with Mr. Gold and I would hope I would build him in the bag and leave him sealed and displayed him with my other minis.

If it's a one of the hanging displays you see on the end caps then they keep those to refill them as the Minis come in. I found another fresh case at a local Meijer store and got to feel through the whole case, no Mr. Gold so I just snagged the lone Medusa since it was the third time I noticed she was only one per case.

I agree 100%, I don't think Lego really needed to hype this line up by placing a rare figure in it. However, seeing as how Lego does this all the time (I will never own a Bizarro Superman or White Boba Fett) it's not out of the ordinary.

I thought I found a fresh case at TRU yesterday but it turned out to be a case someone went through and put back carefully. How do I know this you ask? Because every third figure package was ripped open. The jerk who was there before me used the figure stand as a knife to open the package up quickly. So, no Mr. Gold but I was able to get the remaining figures I wanted. Medusa, Bseball Player, Old Man. Basically the entire series except for Xena and Paris Hilton, though I may pick up Paris for the phone.

Found a case at TRU this morning, went through all of them but no Mr. Gold. I did grab several blind and got the Painter, two Bumblebees, the Mime, Cheech Marin, the Sea Captain and the Roman Commander.
