  1. I agree with Crownie. It just isn't possible. I saw The Hobbit last night and loved it! Too bad there wasn't a set with Radaghast and his rabit cart. Or a set with Azog. I don't think Yazneg's armor looks anything like it does in the movie. All the other sets are great though!
  2. This is making me want to see the movie even more. . If you want a scene from the movie you could always make a MOC. I would love to see it!
  3. Nice! This is great!

    Cool! I might try this!
  5. Hmm, I think a Fell Beast and Catapult/ Siege Tower set would be good, or a fell beast could come with a Minas Tirith or Minas Tirith Gate set. I would imagine Minas Tirith being a Death Star type set, big with lots of minifigures and play features. I could also imagine Barad Dur being a Dropship and AT-OT type set, one sided set, no battle. I think that would be cool if it came with Sauron, Mouth of Sauron, 1 or 2 Battle trolls, a ton of orcs, and possibly Sam and Frodo in Orc Armor, trying to sneak past. That'd be great.
  6. Hmmm... Interesting. I'm exited for a new At-TE and Gunship, but dissapointed that there aren't any Old Republic sets. I would rather have more OR sets than remakes. I need pictures to tell if I like the sets though.
  7. Wow! Love that tower! The water is a great idea! :classic:

You show those elves! Nice welcoming party you got there!
  9. Wow! This looks great! Where did you get all the 1x1s? Bricklink? PAB?
  10. Wow! Giant!
  11. Amazing! It's perfect, I love every inch of it!

Ha, ha! A while back I also said I wanted centaurs! That'd be great!
  13. This year all I want from Dwarven Claus is a magic spear, a sword signed by The Jarl, and the head of a Hand of Corruption Soldier on a stick. I also only have 2 pairs of green arms.
  14. Simply stunning! Love the water, curved wall, and pretty much everything! Hope your wife continues to heal!

Wow! That MOC looks great! I love the ceiling supports! I also love the floor! I had a hard time picking which IG-88 I like most. I ended up picking the one on the left. Is this scene from The Clone Wars or from your own imagination? Great work!
  16. I got the MMV and just started building. I must say I'm impressed!
  17. Haha! Love the "elfs"! I also love the use of heroica orcs as orc kids!
  18. They could do that and make The Citadel. Or make the outer wall in sections like The Uruk-Hai Army. I don't know.

Wow! Those buildings are perfect! Some great details! The only thing I don't like is the water. It looks plain compared to the rest of the MOC. Maybe loose round 1x1s would look better?

Hmm, I never thought of that! That would make sence, as both are a licensed fantasy theme. Still LOTR is more midievil than Harry Potter.
  21. Ha ha, nice! I love the first scene and the second! I love how you do your water! I would do that but I've never seen round 1x1s in transparent blue in PAB. Great MOC!
  22. Hmm, I find it wierd that they show him with the Sting sword mold instead of a full size sword in the first picture.

I agree with you about Castle coming back sooner or later. I also agree that these sets sound horrible. However I don't agree about LOTR not doing well with kids. Every time I go to the lego store I see kids getting LOTR. They care more about the sets and that it's lego than what the movie is rated. It is true that LOTR probably isn't doing the best with kids, but I think it's doing fine. Hopefully well enough for several more waves.
