Well really sick that some people got 40 crawlers O_O But to be honest. Everybody had enough time to get one. I know people who ordered 7th August and received their crawlers yesterday...

Just wait... Possibility to get one is not bad... My friend got shipping confirmation too now while customer support says - nope you wont get one, out of stock, orders will get cancled

Got shipping confirmation! Seems a new batch arrived! Ordered 5th August! So it seems the customer support is wrong and talks trash.

Friend of mine called Lego customer service today asking about when the next orders are shipped. He got told, that they wont get any more 41999 and all open orders will be cancled O_O - Can anybody confirm this?

Available again @ German online store :) Seems they sorted out again some orders... Everybody who still wants one should hurry up... I think about 2 weeks was enough time for every real fan to grab one :) EDIT: Again sold out... I would keep refreshing the lego s@h pages if you still want one..

Local lego store in Germany sold all 20 sets within ~6 hours. First and last batch they told me

Yes they are "back" now... This changes might be because of the "verification process" of every single order... Seems they canceled again some "multi-orders"

Wow luckily that your lego stores still have some.. Mine said that they were sold out on the first day in hours.. And they had a good stock

In Germany its sold out now, but I think everybody who ordered one will get one... Every order is manually approved by the customer service. So they do exactly know how much orders they have (and how many they have in stock). And from what I know from my friends and myself they do not accept payment by invoice. So many people including me paid in advance. Also some already got the mini mech. So it doesnt make any sense, that they start canceling now orders. From the economic sight, this would be absolutly ridiculous. I know from the past, that very good offers are sometimes oversold when tons of people order them the same time. But as said, Lego approves every single order with a 41999 in it, so this should normally not happen.

Thats unfair :D My order from 7th November is still not shipped :( 05.12.12 Amazon.de says now

Amazon.de discounted it to 79.99 EUR - Its the cheapest price it ever was tracked at amazon.de - I just ordered a additional one to store :) I already own 2 of them and its perfect for custom supercar models

Anyone has trusted informations that the 8043 will be retired soon? In Germany its on back order on many sites. Prices went up from ~120,- to ~150,- EUR for the cheapest one. At the german S@H LEGO website the 8043 will be available again in december. Amazon.de has it listed again after ~3 weeks with a delivery at end of november. So maybe its just a supply shortage? At the american website its marked as "retired soon" - But as some other say, this doesnt mean anything to europe. right? What do you think, is it worth buying some for 139€ and keep it safe? Or waiting till the most vendors have them back in stock and wait for a nice discount?
