Will anyone make a comparison image or mini review of new Emperor? I have the one from Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle that I bought like six months ago and wanted to know if the update is substantial enough to warrant a replacement.

Well the new Stormtrooper helmets images were taken in Pinewood Studios location based on the image details. Then there's the concept art developed based on it. Seems like a coincidence to have images, set prop which is expensive and concept art. Many of the rumors are dubious but not the Stormtrooper helmets. Well I don't have a JarJar and I hope he gets an update. Would have rather had Naboo guard, Boss Nass or something else and Battle Droids are still boring. Thanks for info as always Hulk smash!

To be fair I agree with this because the PT was my generation. I loved the OT but the PT has elements of action, technique, setting and effects which surpass the OT. I believe that the PT had the potential story wise to outclass the OT in it's Faustian tragedy aspect. While the OT has great chemistry and fun, it is outdated in it's slow pacing and weak action segments. I still say that Ewan, Hayden and Natalie did a great job in ROTS considering what they were given. Ewan is a great actor and his portrayal of Kenobi astounding and worthy of recognition. And here is the crux of the matter, regardless of how well received the ST will be the OT generation will not accept it like they rejected the PT. They will not know how the current generation, the targeted audience will receive and appreciate the ST. And to be fair, ROTS was actually received well by critics and it deserves it, hammy scenes and awkward dialogue included. As Star Wars fans, all three trilogies are reflective of a different generation who all deserve mutual respect and an open mindedness. Apologies for continuing this line of discussion, it was in the spirit of cooperation. That said I look forward to exciting new sets for SW 2015. While the Rebels sets are of a lesser priority, I still plan to purchase the smaller sets at least. I am most excited about the AAT and the Skyhopper sets.

I believe Lego will have an extra wave just for ep7 when that happens. So we should still get a proper ratio of PT, OT and Rebels.

Three points: 1. It's Star Wars, they have more resources and budget 2. If LOTR taught us anything, afols don't determine how well sets sell. 3. The Stormtrooper is Ralph Mcquirre inspired.

Oh gods, people we need this petition. Lego is dumping LOTR for of all things a Friends style Elves line. The travesty, the horror and the injustice. We need to move this everywhere or we may never see castle or fantasy on such a realistic and grand scale. C'mon everyone let's get signatures!

Actually it is modular. Part 5 has the iconic gate and Rivendell entrance. This part has the most supporters. Check out the other projects by this person especially the Barad-dur one which is amazing and has almost 1000 supporters.

Indeed. Lego why do you make me hate thee so much? They could never do High Fantasy elves justice and now this atrocity. Perhaps they will be good parts or chances at using new elf ears or hair but well disappointment is understated in this case. Then again what if one of the mini dolls wears a magic helmet lol. Just give me my elf mold helmet Lego!

Give us the Alfar, warlike Norse elves and I'll take it. ;)

^^^^ This. Lego wants all the money from the kids, LOTR afols and the Castle fans. That's why I'm expecting a theme along the lines of the CMF Elf. Also explains why Mirkwood Elf Army looked nothing like movies. Lego was practicing for their new theme. It was an experiment to see if Elves were popular sellers.

No idea I bought 10 Elrond hairs last year and 4 legolas/haldir. Now with as common as hobbit legolas is I imagine it wouldn't be too expensive.

An army of Galadriels would destroy Sauron. Each with power of the Calaquendi and the light of Earendil.

LOTR has fleshie ears so that's what I plan.

My ideas for sets: Flagship will be D-Rex Containment center An Underwater Observatory set with the Mosasaurus Raptors in the set with the Gyrosphere ride A smaller set with a vehicle and maybe golf cart Another smaller set with the canoe ride I could see the Mosasaurus being in either 3 sets! •Underwater Observatory •The Large Ferry •The canoe ride
