  1. I have bought all my extra bricks from pick a brick so far, and it's pricey. Do you guys have a better way of obtaining bricks, say for the trees. I will do some better shots of the scene.
  2. I need to take some better shots, but this is my latest version for 2014. I am now up to 8 boards, but for 2015 I am planning to start straight away and make some MOC's like a Church or bar and also I want some bigger trees. The plan is also to make it more modular so I can break it and build it more easily.
  3. That's great, would look great in my scene. I have never made a model from scratch, just wondered how you went about something like this.
  4. I have saved then down now.
  5. I wanted to build something with a ski slope, and really wanted it to be viewed from 2 sides. I would like to take the slope higher and include a tunnel really, but buying all bricks new was getting a bit out of control. Maybe next year!!! I have 3 daughters so this was a good way of getting them involved. Anyone know where I can source some more of those ropes, to make some more light strings.
  6. what a MOC then? I have no idea?
  7. Layout This is my first attempt at a lego model in adult life. I would be keen to add a train and a tunnel, but the brick costs were getting out of hand. Let me know your thoughts. I generally just collect minifigs and a few starwars bits. I am keen to try and do some more custom building thou.
