  1. Very nice work! Looks alot like te one from the film. I can't seem to get the other pictures to work though.
  2. Cool, I'm actually in America. I live on the east coast so there are alot of conventions around me.
  3. I'm actually the treasurer of the "Cosplay Club" at my college. I make several different types of costumes (ranging from otaku, to period wear, to other more specialized ones) and may even be taking commisions for fursuits in the fall. Our group will be going to our first convention together this summer :)
  4. I've always loved the more animalistic designs myself... So, I think we could use more of them ;) Malum always reminded me of an ape. I got the feeling he was supposed to walk on all fours likea gorilla, using thyose claws as knuckles but mabe that is just me. A ccouple of the toa from the pit resembles things too. Like Hewkee always looked like a sea-urchin to me.

RIOT!!!! Hahaha This is very cool. Be really awesome to do with some more scenery. The guys in the back flipping the car are funny :)

Maybe it is just me but I'd like to see more stuff that isn't some kind of vehicle. I detested the GG set but I think it was a step in the right direction. Maybe more character sets like that or a huge 3d wall mural? Maybe showing different scenes like the deathstar but flat-ish so it can hang on the wall. Like maybe all different scenes from the clone wars.
  7. No clue what these are but they're neat. Be really cool if they were in alot of colors.

Cool, it looks good. I don't know alot about the newer star wars stuff but it kinda looks alittle skinny to me. The one from birckmaster is proportionally wider. My little lego one also has a bunch of guns on its sides, not sure if they are really meant to be there or not. Just stuff I noticed that I thought might help you.
  9. I'm not one to build sets just because they're big but because I like them instead. So, the biggest set I've built was the recent castle village/market. The shop at home exclusive one. Took me a while to build, just me at the table with the parts all dumped in a tiny shoebox. Probably close to 7-8 hours with a lunch break in between. My method was certainly a hinderance for speed but it made it more challenging. I remember searching for a single piece for like fives minutes in that tiny shoebox ;)
  10. Lego may be art but it is first and foremost a children's toy. So I'm against some things being created in lego. I find it poor taste given the medium's first intetion is to appeal to children.

"Angry Mob Supplies" Ha! Gotta love it!!! Piles of dynamite are always fun. Booooom :)
  12. You can only get that kind of "help" from lovely little siblings... or cats ;) I live on a farm and have 15 of the furry "helpers" that love to just bat my pieces away.
  13. I think it is a de-stress method for alot of people, myself included ;) I was actually wondering if that was one of the reasons a person would build alone even if they had the option of building with someone else (like you do).
  14. As I was sitting at my desk getting all my castle stuff back out the other day I got to wondering... Do you typically build legos with another person or do you build alone? I understand that there are communities, groups, and such that do it occasionaly. However, I got to wondering about the everyday building. I used to build with my sister all the time when I was young. Even now, my mate seems less than interested in legos and would probably never build them. So I pondered... Do you build alone or with another person?
  15. I must be like the only person who liked the speed racer legos ;) I loved the silly car designs, even if they were far from the silly car designs of the movie. Agents gets best set overall though. They really had a phenomenal line. With robot arms, their stuffed full command base, and all the creative vehicles (really liked the jet).... Plus there was a shark with a gatling gun on it's head. How cool is that!
