  1. All these update possibilities made the 8110 UnimoC the best possible set for my taste: it's true, it is weakly motorised, but all the time I felt like some solutions were intentionally put that way, to make it easier to upgrade. (the 1stud longer axle for the direct/mounting of an XL-motor, the position between seats in the cabin for a 11stud steering-holder, and so on). I think, one of the last 8043's from Hungary is on it's way to me (no sources in Serbia at all!). It would be great to have an official RC-mod kit similar to the idea of the 8293, maybe one remote, one receiver one L (or even XL) + one M motor, a battery box, the basic gears, clutches and so on. I think it should make even some cuusoo sets easier to pass the official part for being not so expensive in "basic" version.
  2. Hello Everybody, I have just regged to tell that my son (4yr) and I have also modded our 8110 to be remote controlled. The basic inspiration was blaz62's video, but slightly modded: the XL motor is slightly bended in his version, so the two 13stud sticks above the motor were changed to 11stud sticks (actually from our 9391, the catepilar wheelbase is now 13stud instead of 11, the 10T gear for steering is also pulled from this set). The mounting had plenty options, we chose one L-shaped 4:3stud and one 3stud piece. The more amazing discovery was to see that the cabin is projected likely to insert a 11stud stick between the seats and to build steering on it mostly based on default 8293 gears. I shall take some photos next week to link them here, too. I'm glad, I've just found (well, google found it actually) this great forum!
