- 9395 Tow Truck
shadowhearth replied to Tadej's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI got this truck too. Its on display at the moment, but its going to be the first one to be choped up for parts. Its a fun build, looks great, but it does not have that WOW factor. On the other side it is a very good set for parts. It can be picked up for very decent money these days.- Pictoral review: 42006 Excavator
shadowhearth replied to Samanen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingNo :(. Dont know if i will get it any soon. Looks like prices going up on it now. I spent a fortune already and i will hold off on buying any more of technic sets. I think I got enough sets/parts to start some of my own stuff!- Pictoral review: 42006 Excavator
shadowhearth replied to Samanen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingIts ready, sorry for crap pic! I have to say, it is a very awesome and clever build. Loved it!- Pictoral review: 42006 Excavator
shadowhearth replied to Samanen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAye, cheers lads. this is what i got to build now. I am building the 42006 at the moment while watching Lord of the rings. I LOVE to being nerd!- Pictoral review: 42006 Excavator

- Would You Buy Lego Mindstorms If It Were Less Expensive?
shadowhearth replied to DLuders's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingTrue. Problem is i dont have those "things", what you call them? "Kkkkkkkids"? So i dont have an excuse when i say misses: "Hey,love, there is that cool lego robot! Its sooooooooooooo cool, but it is 350eu" *Misses not impressed. Its a really really cool set. It is worth every penny for what it is, but i just dont have 350eu spare, specially when 350eu will buy me A LOT of lego!- cyclops ambush
- Polish-Lithuanian Hussar (CCCX Realistic Castle Figure)
+1 from me as Lithuanian. that looks really damn cool!- Would You Buy Lego Mindstorms If It Were Less Expensive?
shadowhearth replied to DLuders's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI would LOVE the 3.0 one. It does look fantastic, but price tag really really scares me. It is 350$, so it will be around 350eu for us here. that is A LOT of money for a toy. I love my Lego hobby, but damn, that is on a very high side, considering it is only 500 pieces kit...- Micro RC truck
shadowhearth replied to Tamas Juhasz's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingOkay, this is just Cool. really thinking out of the box there! Let alone make something so small RC, but have a suspension in front too lol. Great stuff!- The BOSS Crawler. Technic challenge entry.

shadowhearth replied to DLuders's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI dont think i got all the parts needed for this. I do know i need one! This looks like a perfect item to annoy and chase my 2 dachshunds!- Worst Technic Sets of all Time
shadowhearth replied to Rishab N's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingWell, there is a very fine line between "bad Technic" sets and "Technic sets i dont like". There are a good few sets i dont like, but those are not bad sets. Need to try not to mention those! Anyway... Lets start 1257/1258/1260/1268 - those were all mini sets. Promotional polibags? Well they just suck... When you get normal Lego promotional set, there are at least something decent or a nice minifig. This.... this is just a joke. All Bionicle stuff - Why are they even marked as Technic, I have no idea... there is nothing Technic about those things Lava/Frost/Onix/dust - Again, why are these marked as Technic? Other then that, i still think that most of sets are quite interesting. I dont really think its fair to judge some older sets now, yes, new stuff is really awesome, but in the end of the day, its evolution!- How much do you spend on Technic?
shadowhearth replied to mobi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYup, dunno why, but flatbed just stuck in my head. I missed out on one of those in local ads for 45eu. I should really get finger out and get one sealed from bricklinks, while they still around 80eu. 25eu delivery charge is a bit pain in a hole, when i need to deal with bricklinks!- Rechargable Hand Drill (my first MOC)
shadowhearth replied to Levent's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThat is pure class! Surely it could be used as a light screw driver, no? :D- How much do you spend on Technic?
shadowhearth replied to mobi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingNeed to do some maths... December, when i got out of the closet: 9398 - 150eu 9395 - 60eu 8070 - 100eu Total ( last year ): 310eu January: 42000 89eu Quite scary... In two months i spent 400eu on lego! Still to get this year: 8110 Unimog 8109 Flatbed truck 9394 Jet plane ( need those red panels ) 42005 Monster truck 42008 Service truck 42009 On the fence with this NXT 3.0 - If i win loto... Looks like i am spending too much per year!- [REVIEW] 42000 Grand Prix Racer
shadowhearth replied to Blakbird's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingIts 89eu for me in Ireland. I personally think its a fair deal. It was in argos for 120eu, now that was stupid unfair price tag. In my opinion some people are way to critical on this set. It is still a very high part count for price. Good selection of parts, Good colours. I agree with rm8. Just because it has one stupid M motor and a battery box, does not make it a good set. Remember, that it is 89eu on launch, in a few months you will be able to pick this up on amazon with some sale for even less. Its just my opinion, but it is a bit delusional to offer other F1 cars instead of 42000. Silver champion is around 150eu second hand. Good second hand one or sealed one is A LOT more. for 150eu i can buy 2 of 42000. I prefer looks of 42000 too.- The price of a Brick
- Datsun's Cars
shadowhearth replied to Datsun's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingMaybe you should try to build in bigger scale? A lot more detail then! Still great mocs m8. I got a plan to build my old car out of lego. Nissan skyline gtst 4 door saloon. It was 400hp rwd monster. You just can't beat good old nissans/Datsuns! - 9395 Tow Truck
