  2. It's midday in the Town Hall when the leader of the Maintown Mafia, "Bill", shows up "Did you know they're playing mafia out there?" he asks the Mayor. "How insulting! Do something about it!" "I can't without making the situation worse." the Mayor replies. "What if they catch one of our operatives?" "Let them play their game of mafia, sir. It won't matter in the end." the Mayor says The Godfather thinks about it for a second. "Very well. Just don't let the situation get out of hand."
  3. Voting is just about open! You have 48 hours remaining in this day. It will take 5 votes to lynch.
  4. Main Street Mafia 2: Day One - Trouble in the Neighborhood Welcome to Maintown, specifically, Main Street of Maintown. A quiet town with a street of locally owned businesses. However, there's trouble brewing on Main Street... Gordon, the Chair of the Chamber of Commerce, exits the town hall in a huff. "Fellow members of the Chamber of Commerce, I've got terrible news! The mayor is unwilling to help us in our fight against the mafia as they move into the neighborhood!" "Even worse, I believe he's been corrupted by the mafia to try to force us out of our businesses!" There's a general sense of panic amongst those assembled. "What do we do?!" someone shouts. "Someone save us!" someone else screams. "Won't anyone think of the children?!" "What's with that cat hair?" someone, probably Cheryl, will ask. Before all out panic sets in, Gordon gets the citizens back on side. "Alright, listen up! It looks like in order to fight the Maintown Mafia, we're going to have to beat them at their own game and play mafia ourselves!" "Does the mafia actually play mafia?" someone asks. "Yes, I'm sure they do." Gordon replies. "You all know how to play. Find someone to vote out and bring them to me!" 13. Still hoping for a few more people to sign up!
  14. Hello! Very few people remember the original Main Street Mafia, because it was something like six or seven years ago, I barely even remember it and I hosted it. This won't be a sequel to the original game, but a sort of spiritual successor. I'm looking for people to participate! If you've never played mafia before in your life, why not try it now? It will be a simple game, I super promise. I'll keep sign-ups open for awhile. I'm looking for at least eight players.
  15. Coming soon... Main Street Mafia 2: Main Street Harder
  16. I'd have to figure out how to script and story the next one.
  17. I think this is one of the most balanced games I've hosted when it comes to night actions, but maybe I'm wrong. Are there any thoughts on it? Do you think one side was more powerful than the other? I think the scum were severely hampered by the doctor/medic getting three correct saves, but other than that it was an incredibly close game.
  18. An explanation on the night actions. I used IRL mafia rules for the cop and the vigilante. The vigilante had one shot that they could use. If they were lynched, they could also choose to shoot any player as they were going down. However, if they were night killed, their kill is wasted. I gave DD the parity cop which had an extremely long explanation even though the game was meant to be "simple" A basic explanation is that you investigate two different people over two nights and see if their alignment is the "same" or "different". This is why there was "no result" on night one for Noah's alignment. Had DD not been voted off, she would have been able to target another player to compare the result to. If she targeted a member of the town, she'd get the result "the same" since Noah was town. If she targeted a scum, she'd get the result "different". I'd like to include the parity cop again in a future game (maybe Pirates V), it's a shame that I couldn't see the outcome.
  19. I'll get it soon. There were only three real night actions this game and a one-shot vig, so it'll be an easy spreadsheet to put together. Most of it I did by head because the investigator died early.
  20. Big credit to JintaiZ the protector, who got three saves correct, which is why there were no scum night kills. He must be psychic or something.
  21. Pirates Mafia IV - Conclusion It was decided that Murphy Blake was to be thrown overboard. "Arrrre you ready, Mr. Blake?" "Yup!" "See ya!" Murphy Blake was a Traitor. Sometime later, Redbeard and his crew arrived at their final destination, the Enchanted Island, where Redbeard met with their leader, King Kahuna. "We would be delighted to grant you safe haven, Captain Redbeard. The Islanders are here for you." "Arrr, and it be all thanks to my most loyal compatriot..." "You're welcome." Henry said. --- NPCs: Captain Redbeard (NPC) Players (3): Isaac "Dragon" Wallace - Played by Jack Sassy (Loyal Pirate) Noah "The Map" Nelson - Played by JintaiZ (Loyal Pirate) Harper "Sea-Salt" Lawson - Played by Rumble Strike (Loyal Pirate) Overboard (5): Douglas "No Hook" Wembley - Played by Darkdragon (Loyal Pirate) Spencer "Cutlass" Milford - Played By KotZ (Loyal Pirate) Vivian "Viv" Pierce - Played by Kaanere (Loyal Pirate) Kieran "Two Guns" Newport - Played by Tariq j (Traitor) Murphy "Bad-Eye" Blake - Played by Duvors (Traitor) Lots to talk about and discuss! 22. Vote Count: Murphy Blake (Duvors) - 4 (JintaiZ, Jack Sassy, Duvors, Rumble Strike) With 4 players it takes 3 to lynch. We'll say about six hours remain if it's unanimous.
  23. Pirates Mafia IV - Day Five: Night Moves It was late at night... Kieran Newport (Tariq j) was walking the decks, observing the cannons. "Arr. Something is off." From behind him, a shadowy figure emerged with a musket. Kieran raised his famous two guns, but he wasn't quick enough. BANG Kieran was dead. ... The next morning... "Avast. Kieran Newport was a Traitor!" "Hurray!!" everyone shouted. "What about Vivian?" someone asked. "Oh, right. I forgot about that. She was a Loyal Pirate. Good luck today!" --- NPCs: Captain Redbeard (NPC) Players (4): Isaac "Dragon" Wallace - Played by Jack Sassy Murphy "Bad-Eye" Blake - Played by Duvors Noah "The Map" Nelson - Played by JintaiZ Harper "Sea-Salt" Lawson - Played by Rumble Strike Overboard (4): Douglas "No Hook" Wembley - Played by Darkdragon (Loyal Pirate) Spencer "Cutlass" Milford - Played By KotZ (Loyal Pirate) Vivian "Viv" Pierce - Played by Kaanere (Loyal Pirate) Kieran "Two Guns" Newport - Played by Tariq j (Traitor) Rules:1) You are either a Loyal Pirate or a Traitor.
