Hero Factory 2012
Yeaaaaahhh, Stormer XL! I had initially believed that the new Stormer would be built like the upcoming Hulk set. It's awesome that this isn't the case. It's a little disappointing that we didn't get another hero to match the number from the winter wave. Why are there so few HF sets this summer? Not sure how I feel about Stringer's random blue. I'd much rather have it be orange. The white armor pieces on Bulk and Nex, though, are probably just placeholders for printed parts, like the green identity plates from the Savage Planet line. All three of those villains are automatic must-buys. And I can only assume/hope the main villain's name will simply be "Speed Demon" as opposed to "Speeda Demon". Sounds much cooler. Plus, aside from Von Nebula, most of the main villain names have just been "normal". Fingers crossed.

No Furno! I hope this list is accurate. Or it's an April Fools prank.

I received the March-April 2011 Lego Club Magazine in the mail today. It comes with an nicely illustrated Ordeal of Fire comic, the ending of which is really reminiscent of the Toa Nuva's transformation. Just a heads up.

Maaaaaan, the villains look great! So do the heroes, except for Furno. Ugh, I don't know why they decided to just exclude thigh armor. Looks a little weird, so I'll have to add some later. Other than that, looks like my wallet is going to hurt in the summer.

Well, Nex has a green spike on his right elbow, and you can kinda make out at least one of the circular saw blade pieces on his shield. He even has the thinner shoulders, plus the headgear. It might be a generic hero that has a similar build to Nex, though. But it was definitely based on Nex.

I noticed Furno 3.0 doesn't have any thigh armor. Hopefully they just forgot to put some pieces on him. If not, then he's a definite "NO" for me.

Oh man, that trailer. Looks like the story is taking a slightly darker tone. I love it. :)

Hero Factory 2011
Looks like late 2011 HF is going to be making a trip to the Swamp of Secrets... I wonder how long LEGO is going to keep up with this whole .0 thing before finally changing to completely different characters. And I'm just going to assume that those green pieces on each of the 3.0 heroes are probably just preliminary versions of the individual armor plates we've been seeing on the 2.0s. Hopefully the final versions won't be so green. Actually, I hope the final versions are a lot different. But, if not, I'll make due with the sets that I like. At least the whole standardized mask thing from the 2.0s was dropped, which is a plus in my book. I'm liking them so far. Most of them, anyways. Rocka has a humorously large head, but I guess that makes sense, seeing as he's also getting an XL version. Anyways, nice to see Stringer and Bulk making a triumphant return, and from what I can tell, Stringer actually looks like his original set. Furno and Stormer are my favorite characters, so I'm glad that LEGO seems to want to put the two of them in every. single. wave. of their toyline. Thanks, LEGO!

Nice to see both yellow and orange are back. Haha. My only problem with the Heroes are their helmets/masks. Really disappointed by them. They seem to be the same basic template, but have different add-ons...I liked this year's helmets a lot better. :'( That being said, ARTICULATED LIMBS! WOOOOOOOOO!

"Dancing With the Heroes..." I'd actually like to see that.

I got Von Nebula today at Toys R Us (they had all the villains, Furno Bike, and the Dropship). Building him as I type this.

I think at this point in history, almost every single character ever written ever can be associated with a certain stereotype. Uh, but that's just me.

He's talking about at the very beginning of the video. For a split second, on the right of the screen, you can see a billboard with a picture of Furno's bike.

Look at Bulk's weapon arm. Not as hollow. I wish that was the case with the sets.
