  1. Hi Holodoc, sorry about that. I dont want to create another topic as this thread has a wealth of information about displaying our lego modular buildings. I found this youtube video comparing the old Detolf-43 cm wide vs the new one, Blaliden - 32cm wide (which will not fit the Assembly square 10255 and Natural history Museum 10326) Blaliden link - https://www.ikea.com/ch/de/p/blaliden-vitrine-weiss-00501243/
  2. Resurrecting this topic.. Ikea Detolf was discontinued starting January 2024. Has anyone tried the new version, BLÅLIDEN?
  3. Nice review whitefang! Can't wait for these minifigs!
  4. "07734" in calculator man's visor did not mean anything on the numbers but it says "hello" spelled backwards upsidedown
  5. The shape reminds me more of the Citroen 2CV because of the shape and thickness of the rear panel/ c-pillar
  6. The poster for the category B is somewhat misleading. The picture used is for Series 15 but in the rules you cannot use them. Why not use the pictures of the previous series if they are the minifigs to be used? I know we should read the rules first but what catches the eye first is the poster. just my 2 cents...
  7. Maybe these can be added: UK - Constable Egypt-Egyptian warrior India - Snake charmer Any arab country - Sheik and some minifig from the Prince of Persia
  8. I only downloaded the parts from Bricklink and put them in excel spreadsheet. I know it's much more time consuming but I don't know how to use brickficiency. For the parts substitution, you can check the pictures in page 1 & 2 of this thread. There were only few substitutions like the darkbrown 4x1 slope curved, dark brown inverted slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 and reddish brown support 2x2x11
  9. Amazing interior!
  10. They split the order and ships the sets which one is available. Last month I ordered some sets so that I can get the free gingerbread house. But the ScoobyDoo Mystery machine was out of stock so it was left behind. When the Mystery Machine was sent a few days later, I was surprised that they sent me two sets instead of one, though i only paid for one set. Now I need to contact customer service since I dont want to spend for shipping it back...
  11. Here's my take on the 60098
  12. Hi, this is the part description and number: Bricklink part# 87926 Cylinder Half 3 x 6 x 6 with 1 x 2 Cutout
  13. hey, thanks for the fast reply! I was using the online 10040 instructions since the 6285 does not have a clear one. My head is already spinning in trying to find where it is. Now I know why I am short of 2pcs 2x4 last night and I put these extra 2x4's in the bottom of the rear masts. Thanks! I will take more pictures when I got home!
  14. BSB is a tough build because of the instruction will not tell you what part you will use next and where to put them. You need to study the changes on next picture. The problem is after the build, I'm left with four pieces of brick corner 1x2x2. I already used 2 pieces out of 6 pieces. Would anyone tell me where I missed it?
  15. New addition to my fleet, purchased this Black seas barracuda for EUR120, without box nor instructions but the parts are complete and the sails are like brand new. I replaced the figurehead on the front with a newer mermaid. The flags are still to be installed..
  16. Another news and hopefully the actual photos! http://www.ew.com/article/2015/10/27/lego-ghostbusters-firehouse-photos
  17. I observed it the past three years now, having a 30% sale in October for all toys then 50% off in early February for selected toys. It's good thing there are a number of big Migros in Geneva area. I got my 9398 also in Migros when they offered the 50% off 2 years ago..
  18. I bought a 42043 too! I hope there will be more coming February next year where they do a 50% off on selected sets
  19. Is that from Migros? (excluding TVA?)
  20. Bought an incomplete Queen Anne's Revenge for EUR70. The sails were complete and all ships hull and masts, come's with only 3 minifigs but I can live with that. Most of the missing pieces were the skeleton parts. After spending EUR40 on bricklink for the missing parts, my QAR is now complete!
