  1. Installed the sails now :)
  2. You can bricklink the parts of the Imperial Flagship. It cost me around EUR240 to complete the ship (without minifigs) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107167
  3. 1x Fire Brigade 1x Palace Cinema 1x Parisian Restaurant 1x Grand Emporium 1x Town Hall 2x Pet Shop All MISB, no place to display yet
  4. Thanks for the link! Nice pictures in there!
  5. I would love to see the storage solutions of those bricklink sellers who have atleast a million pieces on their inventories
  6. For me I buy whatever cheap offerings I see in auction sites. It's ok even if incomplete but around 30%-40% of the current price. I bought 6243 Brickbeard's bounty around $40 (EUR35) just missing few regular pieces. Now I just bought Queen Anne's revenge for EUR70, missing certain pieces worth EUR30 in bricklink.
  7. 3 x Horizon Express 2 x 7939 Yellow Cargo 1 x 7938 Red Passenger 1 x 3677 Red cargo 1 x Lone Ranger 1 x 60052 Blue Cargo 1 x 60097 City Tram converted to PF

maybe you can upgrade it like the imperial flagship. though there are different elements invoived
  9. The power functions for the heavy haul train is the same as the one that you can use for the HE. The power function elements used in the train since 2010 is the same as the current one, except maybe the V2 for the receiver. Post a picture of the one you got so we can see if there's any difference at all.
  10. Yes you can use the newer version of the hull, part#95227 as against the old part# 2560. They are identical and use the same mold, the difference is the newer one is held together by 5 technic pins which is much more stable than the old one held by two 2x4 bricks. If I had known it earlier, I will use the new one which is more cheaper and can get it brand new. Use the black technic pin
  11. I will surely buy it the day it becomes available!
  12. Yes, pimp it up! I just bought a torso and headgear of the governor and used a SW head and a white leg.
  13. You may wish to elevate the platforms for the figures at the 2nd and 3rd rows so that they can be seen easily
  14. Its easy to modify the 8404 blue tram. It's shape is almost rectangular so you wont have problems fitting the battery box including the receiver and motor. I tried it on the 60097 and it wont fit all in one carriage due to sloping shape from the roof to the bottom. The battery box will sit on top of the motor and it will hit the windows. The 3 carriage all 12-stud 8404 was powered by 9V so its very easy mod. The Power functions 8404 was more heavily modded since it meant building two more additional carriage, one a 16 stud carriage to carry all the electronics and an 8-stud one to help with the bends. My original plan was to make the middle carriage (16 studs long) carry all the electronics. But when I tried to run it, it always derail since it cannot bend on curves. Three 16-stud carriage will not work. I tried to put in train buffer beam and it works great but the distance between carriage was too far. So I went back and transferred all the electronics to the first carriage and revert to a 4-stud middle carriage. Maybe my original plan of 16 studs middle carriage will be good if I will also put in between it a small 4-stud carriage like in the original to help in the curves.
  15. My hobo minifig (aka the prospector) now has a companion
  16. When I saw the tram in 60097 set, I got to have it but I only wanted the tram. The price of the whole set is too expensive, EUR180! So I went to bricklink the project tram, and I only spent EUR25 for the important parts of the tram, like the windows, orange parts, connectors and other essentials. I wanted to motorize it via power function. Putting the motor, battery and receiver in one carriage will be difficult since the curve of the windows will not permit it. So I hacked a Lego extension cord and came up with this (copied what others did in using the 9v battery). I used a 9V battery to make it compact and light. So now I managed to fit everything inside the front carriage The completed model
  17. My zombie businessman's case was already broken when i opened the bag. Wondering if lego will replace it
  18. Thanks! Very satisfying experience! I would recommend it to anyone who wish to own an imperial flagship but taken aback by the prohibitive cost of a brand new one. For the blue boat, I just added it later by attaching it using a technic pin.
  19. Yes the two small red flags will also be replaced to blue, already in order. I also ordered the Governor so the population of the Imperial ship will increase in no time
  20. to continue.. the prison holding a captive Full battery of cannons The stern..If you will notice, i replaced the dark brown inverted slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 with brick round 1x1 and inverted slope 45 2 x 1. The original ones were hard to find and expensive The reddish brown support 2x2x11 which is also very expensive and very hard to find were replace by 2x2 rounds The completed model sans the sails. Still need to decide where to display it since dust is a killer. Once inside the cabinet, will put the sails thereafter. Pardon the flag. I will finally use the Bluecoats flag from the set 70412, Soldiers Fort, which is already in order.
  21. Whenever I open a new set, I always open a review of that set and check the bags for completeness!
  22. I wonder how it will look if another hull was added to make it longer?
  23. No I didn't bought any minifigs but I will put the bluecoats from 70413 Brickbounty and from the Shipwreck defense from which I bought 2 sets. A general's daughter will be missing but it will be easy to replace with other female minifigs with similar dress design. So it will become a bluecoats' imperial ship since i will also use a blue flag. The original red flag is very expensive!
  24. I first started collecting Technic but got a chance to buy a used freight train 3677 for a cheap price (bnew condition). My son and daughter loved it so now we have 2 sets of 7939 cargo train, 3 sets of Horizon Express, a 60052 Cargo train and a Constitution Train Chase. I'm currently working on modifying the tram from 60097 City Square to run in PF.
