I just disassembled this one. I have noted all the issues mentioned here, and I think that it will be too difficult to simply modify, so I am going to do a complete rebuild of this ship... just not immediately. Overall, I'm pleased with this model as a first draft, but in the end it needs a lot of improvement, especially with the engine block. That was actually my original idea, but in the end it wasn't sturdy enough to be system scale. That's actually one of my least favorite parts of this model-- the engine block is too big because I originally designed it to hold minifigs.

Here is my rendition of the Nebulon-B frigate from Star Wars Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi. I wanted to make a model of this ship because of its unique design. I included the Millennium Falcon docked to the underside. By the way, I know the engines aren't accurate, but it was as close as I could get. 3. Hmm, I was pretty sure that the Venator was 1137 meters and the Imperial-class was about 1600 meters, but oh well. Anyway, the chance of LEGO making the Home One to scale with the ISD playset is close to zero if you ask me.
  4. Sorry. I actually have read the entire thread, but wasn't aware that my question had been answered. Anyway, I sure hope that the Sep Shuttle is relatively inexpensive because I would love a Rodian head, even if they use the same mold as Greedo. That was a good figure that I wish I had.
  5. I couldn't think of any other type of design for the snail tank either. It's just that whenever LEGO redesigns a Star wars vehicle, it seems that they usually drastically change the design.
  6. Thanks for the info. Does the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid have a basic design similar to this one(large radar dishes on the sides and long tread made of separate pieces)? Thanks again.
  7. Does anyone just happen to know how many pieces the first Corporate Alliance Tank Droid had? I am actually looking forward to this set, and would like to see if the first one would be comparable (in size and design) to the one coming out later this year.

  9. Soldier's fort is now up! I can't wait to get it.
  10. Yay! Count me in. Yay! Count me in.

Are there any sightings in Texas?

I really hope that these will be all over the US by late November/early December. I can't wait to get the fort.

The back printing on the the redcoat is amazing! I can't wait to get these later!
  14. In my opinion, the ship just keeps looking worse and worse. I was hoping that the picture of it without the skulls on the sails was further along in production than the one with the skulls, but apparently that's not the case. On the other hand, the fort looks great to me. I'll definitely buy it when it comes out. EDIT: Just wanted to point out that the roof of the lean-to in the fort along with the shelves in the soldier impulse definitely look dark blue now. It's awesome.
  15. If I were to change anything, I would add more structures such as market stalls just to add more dimension. This MOC just seems a little too flat. Other than that, Nice job! The blood looks good and it clearly displays cruelty.
