Lucky LEGO finds
The best deal I've ever gotten was an eBay auction with no pictures that had a "buy it now" price of $5 with the description of "pirate lego." This very cheap lot ended up being a 95% complete #6277 Imperial Trading Post and a 85% #6270 Forbidden Island!!!! Based on eBay prices, I got about a $150 discount

Imperial Patrol Ship
66b After months of redesigns, changes, bricklink problems, and new ideas, I finally finished what I think is my greatest creation. As you can see, I used a few unusual but effective techniques in creating this MOC. I used these as cannons. And now, I\'d like to say thanks to meschepers for telling me as to how to iron on a decal onto my cloth sails. Pictures: The Crew: Arrrrghhhh! Pirates be off the Starboard bow!!! Thank ye for looking, regards, pat

Port Royle- a secret pirate takeover
Vig. 48a In light of pirate month, I've decided to make this beautiful creation. Port Royal, a civilian port village(with TLC's Imperial Trading Post attached to the far right), has been secretly taken over by pirates. They have sailed in, secretly overtaking every shop, house, and building. If you look closely, you'll see that The Admiral is about to be assassinated by a ruthless pirate while his parrot is about to be killed by the pirate monkey! P.S. The first person to find all hidden pirates wins.....drum roll please....NOTHING!!! Have fun and enjoy my MOC! Check out the brickshelf for more pictures here. Thanks for looking -pat

Run!
Wow what an excellent entry! This is one of my favorites in the small division. I don't see anything that could be improved upon, except for the mix of tan and yellow for sand. I would choose one or the other, but regardless, great entry!!

Mr.Freeze's Armoured Truck

Sleeping on the Job
Vig. 38a Sleeping on the job, can be deadly... The lazy soldier, who had been on watch all day, was beginning to doze off. He thought that since there had been no "activity" all day, it wouldn't hurt to take a small nap. But what he did not know, was that a ruthless pirate had been stalking him all day; waiting for this type of opportunity. The pirate, wanting to have a little fun, pulled out his dynamite packs. He took a torch from the imperial fort's gate and lit the fuse. Will the soldier wake up at the maniacal laughing of the pirate, wake up at the sound of the fuse or... will this nap be his last? Any suggestions, positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! pat

[LIBRARY] Sails
How about I show you the completed ship with the sails?

[LIBRARY] Sails
Thank you for your advice. I just ran to my local fabric store and picked up some cloth and transfer paper. I also was lucky enough to find "anti-fray" liquid to prevent the cloth sails from fraying. I plan to iron on the "two crossed cannons over red stripes pattern" imperial logo onto my cloth.
