My only hope for the $500 set is that it’s not microscale. I really hope its X-Mansion but If Lego decide to do Avengers Tower, Avengers Compound, Sanctum, etc I really wouldn’t mind which it’d be. If it is after all Marvel.

That’d actually be pretty awesome, kind of like the UCS Assault on Hoth.

We need to see a detailed common room for at least Gryffindor. I’m not talking a couple of chairs and a fire place I mean the full thing, including the fat lady portrait as an entrance to it, maybe with a staircase leading to the dorm we already have or a bigger more accurate version. Ideally I’d like to see a common room for each house with different unique elements for each house, I know that’s a long shot but it could work and be a nice change. Imagine the different methods of getting into each common room (each house does have a unique way of getting through their house door) and then inside they are laid out all uniquely and not just a different colour scheme for the house colours. In my opinion I could easily see them doing Gryffindors for £50, or if it was to be a larger Hogwarts expansion for a bigger price then £50 worth out of that set (so the main build of the expansion if you like) if that makes sense. It’d be even more amazing if Lego did Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin’s the same size as Gryffindor’s one to capture all the intricate detail for each house but I just can’t see them doing that, I feel Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Slytherin’s would be downsized compared to Gryffindors, which I guess is understandable considering we never saw two of the common rooms in the movie and barley saw the 3rd. The only one we did see a great number of times and see a lot of detail with was Gryffindors. I’d happily see dorms for all of them as well which would be straight forward as the dorms are basic so you can literally just change the colour scheme to match the house colours for them. The Slytherin and Hufflepuff common rooms are both on ground/basement level so they’d both work next to the chamber of secrets and the bottom floor of the fluffy encounter as well which would give for a more accurate interior anyway.

Awesome, I actually like this way of doing things for a change. The endless possibilities of sets we can get without limits to the actual build is a nice change up. It would be nice to get dorms for all four houses and common rooms however I think they may only do this for Gryffindor and Slytherin. I feel a detailed rather large Gryffindor common room would be welcome though, along with the fat lady door. A lot of screen time was spent in there. I also think Dumbledore’s office needs to be done justice with a large scale area, not just his chair and a shelf. It’d be nice to see the sofa area at the back, a large area surrounding the desk with bookshelf’s etc, along with the stairs leading to the upper area with the walkway covered by railings. There are so many areas yet to cover in the castle that I think is needed before getting a rebooted version, as I said common rooms/dorms, Dumbledore’s office, classrooms and offices, room of requirement, the library (if done big enough it could be awesome), other areas from the philosophers stone and the moving staircase. I’m sure there is more to.

Does anyone think we’ll actually see Futurama show up at all?

I don’t mind the Clock Tower at all. I think it’s a nice change to have Lego really focus on the interior of Hogwarts for once and let’s be honest we’re going to see more sets to attach to this style of Hogwarts so I’m sure there will be an adequate building to put as a bottom floor for the clock tower set. In fact to be honest I think the flying lesson set would work well under this set. Having said what I’ve written above are we actually expecting LEGO to carry on with this line of Hogwarts?

They all seem very smilar to previous sets and other people’s wishlist’s looking again.

Is the new Phase 1 clone trooper battle pack based off of ATOC or the Clone Wars? I thought it was ATOC based but the clones look very much like the clones from TCW. Regarding the news of the summer sets, I really am hoping to see Jango‘s Slave 1, Naboo Royal Starship and the Jedi Temple.

Does anyone think we’ll get a Naboo Royal Starship? It did make the cover of the game in Lego form for the Skywalker Saga. I am hoping for Jango’s Slave 1 but I feel it’s a long shot.

It seems odd this wouldn’t be a set as it’s a fairly detailed set and something we need to build/expand our Hogwarts Castle. In my opinion it’s also an area of Hogwarts that did have a fair bit of screen time throughout all the movies don’t you think. Imo we need it.

Can someone tell me what GWP stands for please? I might be being very stupid here but I don’t know. Also are we going to be able to purchase the dorm separately?

How would Harry Potter not be successful😂. How long was the theme supposed to last then? I think it’s crazy how they had all that potential with the first sets from 2018-2020 and then just wasted it. Now everything seems wasted that they created and they have to do the same bits of the castle again like the dorms, class rooms even the great hall. In my opinion what’s worse is we got a downgrade of a great hall this year. I thought it was quite shocking. We can’t even have a courtyard at the front of the great hall anymore.

Why was it only meant for a short period of time? I hope they don’t reboot all the sets. I feel like there is so much more for them to do that we haven’t even seen yet.

Do you have a link to the interview? Also why do you think that is? To me it makes no sense at all considering how much more we needed to complete the old 2018-2020 style. We got the Astronomy Tower then 1 year later they are rebooting it all.

So once this 20 year anniversary is over we’re probably going to go back to the 2018-2020 version of Hogwarts?
