Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
In all honesty it probably wouldn't even be that good as we have so many sets to combine with the current version that a D2C would be most likely smaller. How long do you think this style of Hogwarts will carry on? I think a new graveyard duel is very much needed, I don't know if it's just me but I was very underwelmend with the 2019 version, mainly because of how good the original one is.

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Very true mate, that was the only reason I could think of and even then it's not that much of a reason. It's not even like they need to recycle sets yet as there is so much more to make from all eight movies. Realistically the only time remakes need to be remade based on how many sets we get now per wave would be every 6/8 years. Just look at all the potential sets that haven't been made yet. I suppose with LOTR the vast majority of sets that people would want would cost upwards of $100 in reality. When you look at the movies a lot of it is traveling around in open wildness to one big location. I suppose with that theme it makes more sense to do the odd brickhedz and potentially a couple of smaller sets (army builders style) and one big D2C every year, that way it wouldn't merit talking HP's place but still keep the interest of AFOLS for it to be affordable to get the D2C and collect Harry Potter as well.

It's the only way that set can be done true justice. I never understood how as time moves on Lego manage to make worse looking sets. They did it with the latest MTT as well.

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
What is Dots and how do the two themes connect? To me it wouldn't make much sense to stop this theme, as I'm pretty sure it was in Legos top five best selling themes in 2021 and 2022. The only reason I could see them stopping it is if they go all out with LOTR so they aren't competing against each other. After all LOTR has the new ROP series which is guaranteed to have five seasons so that universe is going to be in the limelight for quite a while. Although having said that Harry Potter does have the new triple A game Hogwarts Legacy coming out next month which is projected to be a huge hit. The only other licensed theme making a comeback is Indiana Jones, but that's most likely only going to be around this year and next as I don't believe it has the same popularity as HP and LOTR.

Lets hope it is an UCS Sail Barge and not just another regular scale version, we could finally see the full interior for it then. Providing Lego goes down the same route as the AT-AT and Razor Crest. I would find it strange if we got a new mould for Jabba to only get him in one set.

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
I am surprised it's smaller to be honest but if everything is included then I won't complain. As long as it has the entrance, spider area, boulder feature, hole in the ground with drop down wall, spears that shoot out the wall on the fake floor and treasure room I'll be happy, but that just seems a lot to include if it is going to be smaller than the original version.

Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion
True, there has been reputable lakers that have said it is coming though I think. I thought Icons were just microscale but upon looking I can see that there is a mix. See for me with it been an Icons set at that price point makes me think it will be microscale. The sets around that price range (Titanic, Colosseum, Eiffel Tower) on the Icons tab are all microscale. I'd go as far to sat that I'd be shocked if it wasn't micro to be honest.

I mean unless he read this forum after and then changed it. He could have made an educated guess as this has been the general guess census for that set. As for the amount of minifigures it could again be an educated guess as I'm pretty sure there is only 4 characters who appear in that opening scene that would bare any real relevance to be included in the set. My previous post included these as my guess for the minifigures. EDIT: Apologies for the double post, my computer had shown posts below my previous and now just reverted back.

I'm not familiar with ICONS, what does that mean? Very strange that the write up would include the word locations, implying that there will be different locations to build. My only thought though is that if we were to be seeing more than the brickhedz and D2C then surely we would of heard about this?

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
A minifigure that I would actually love to see would be a new Darth Vader with a 3 piece helmet, it'd be awesome to be able to remove the top of the helmet then the face covering, it actually surprises me that this hasn't been done yet. Along with that I'd actually like to see a moulded cape, similar to Dr Strange, even if it's included in a one off set.

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
I can't see how the set wouldn't to be honest. A diorama that includes both play features and can be used as an awesome display piece would sell both well with kids and adults. If the set is $160 then surely it will include these features. I may be wrong but isn't that the most expensive diorama to date? (providing it is a diorama) Edit: It will also be a chance to get Belloq as he won't be in the tomb set. Are we expecting a new Lego Indi game at all? I'd be surprised if they don't do one.

That makes sense, I suppose it is now the most logical D2C minifigure scale set. As much as an X-Mansion is probably up there I don't think we'll see that for another year or two so having the Tower is the most logical.

LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
True, but if you remember last year the same thing happened with the republic fighter tank, it was rumoured and then we heard nothing. I'm sure I remember a lot of people thinking it was fake due to it including 187th troopers but it turned out to be real.
