Racer-18

Well i saw a picture on flickr of the new Ferrari sets for 2009, and saw towards the top of the picture 2 figures with Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa underneath them. Unfortunatly, the full shot of the figures wasn't included. So on to my question, will lego do a 2-pack of these guys like they did for the Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello 2 pack a number of years ago? I'd love that! Anyone who has a picture of the 2 figures in shot could you please send me it through PM please? Thankyou

Never been a fan of titans, and i have to say, not to keen on this guy. I can't understand how lego got away with this name: 1. As someone already pointed out, it sounds too much like "Tumour" and i guess some accents with emphasise that. 2. Another Bionicle named after a Maori God? Oh dear.....

Yeah, my thoughts really.

Hmm, like many sets, i'll remain undecided until better pictures emerge. I want to like it as it sounds like a pretty cool theme, but the first pictures have left me strangely dissapointed. Just my view though.

Okay, let's get the discussion going here: Sounds good.....now, on with the pictures: Rally Sprinter, Thunder Racer, Track Marshall and Desert Viper! Lovin' them so far. Rally sprinter looks good, as does thunder racer. A saftey car type vechicle in track marshall looks cool as does desert viper! F1, Rally and Desert Racers There we can see the F1, Rally and Desert racing tiny turbos Thunder Raceway Now, i'm loving this, as i could modify those 2 cars into by 2 favourite BTCC cars of 08: Mat Jackson's 2008 BTCC car Colin Turkington's 2008 BTCC car Thankyou Lego! Onto the bigger sets now: Race Rig, Blue Sprinter and Extreme Wheelie Monster Jumper and Wing Jumper Jump Riders New RC- Track Turbo All in all, a good year for Racers! Very interesting, will be interesting to see how they look. I personally think it's a bit too closely related to Mars Mission, but that's just my view. Excited about Lego Racers and Bionicle though.

I'm a keen motorsport enthusiast and lego racers fan, and the "18" comes from my looky number. Nothing too exciting.

Nice sets, hopefully it will continue strongly into 2009, but i'm still not convinced on the alien figures. I have a feeling that Lego could have done a better job there, but whatever, we have to put up with what we've got and the overall sets are very good.

I was going to get this, but when i rang up S&H, apparently they'd sold out already. Price is a little on the steep side as well, and i can only see it going up on sites such as amazon as the number of people wanting them goes up, which it will it it's anything based on the star wars battle packs.

Well these are.......interesting. As most people, i like some but not others. Gresh- Pretty cool, like the colours and the mask looks decent Malum- Boring. I like red characters, but there isn't really anything to excite me in this guy. Skrall- Pretty awsome, like the weapon, shield and head. Will probably get him if they don't make many modifications to the final set. Strakk- Again, very cool. Not much more to say. Tarix- Wow, a blue guy i actually like the look of! Looks like a proper gladiator Vorox- Hmm, undecided. Will have to see what the final set looks like before i can make proper judgement Atakus- Fantastic. Put it into preduction NOW lego. Berix- Not too keen. Mask looks weird and too many old parts. Metus- Very cool (awful pun i know) liking the look of the shield, but blurry picture, so can't say anything more for now Raanu- Undecided. The shield looks odd Tarduk- Interesting to say the least, hopefully they change the mask a little though Zesk- Too blury a picture to make comment.

Yes, this is a bit strange, but what can you expect is this modern day society when this sort of thing are played up in TV shows/movies/games/books?

Hi guys, Now first, just to say, i have been here before, and i was under the name of White Lightning. I'm sorry about the trouble i caused in my last stay here, and i hope that you will see i have become more mature. I've helped run a few forums since my last time here, and i've grown a huge ammount of respect for the hard work it takes to run a forum, espacially one on this scale. Looking forward to posting here again as it is the best Lego forum around. If admins don't want me to post based on last time, i understand and once again i'm sorry. Anyway, hi guys. Some interests of mine are cars and motorsport such as F1, BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) and LMS (Le Mans Series) so i like Lego Racers. I am a big fan of the tiny turbos and think the 2009 cars look very cool! I also like bionicle, but i have to admit, i'm a bit out of touch with the storyline now so just make one up as i go along. I also like the castle sets, even though i haven't got any of them, i think they look very good. I'm also interested in english and would like to get in Motorsport journalism for a career.
