  1. You will be surprised then :P Few recolurs appear, like 11478 LegoTechnic, Liftarm Thin 1 x 5 - Axle Holes In Yellow
  2. Angular motors are driving tracks.
  3. Two new 42114 alternate models are planned on schedule for next few months ;)
  4. I have stopped making comments on people's MOCs, because any advice about improving model, straight and without "cool, keep it up" was treaten as insult :))
  5. Links to the larger pictures do not work properly, check your privacy settings at flickr.
  6. Motors are structural part of the build, so making the PR without them might be challenging ;)
  7. You've been the best option to have versatile models with that garbage C+. I'm sorry to hear that LEGO IT crew does not know what to do with their own product.
  8. An alternative model for 42114 6x6 Volvo Articulated Hauler Model is completely motorized, with 3 motors, and controlled by official 42114 profile in Control+ app Scaled to dimensions of CAT 834K, with additional features like working fans behind the cab. Drives, steers and elevates the blade. The gearbox from A model has been redesigned, I've removed the parking brake and whole gearbox is much more compact. An additional feature, not present in A model are spining fans behind the cab. Whole model is basically a housing for gearbox, motors and HUB. The blade elevation drivetrain is a little bit complicated, due to lack of second universal joint. Instead I have used several bevel gears on the central pivot. Some details: Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKmETvWrrBE Instructions: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-78488/M_longer/42114-wheel-dozer/ Few comparison photos with other models: 42100 Liebherr PR Dozer 42114 Mining Dump Truck
  9. It is possible, but the main goal was to have hauler in scale with 42100 :)
  10. Well, Make is correct, everything else is off the proportions. Badly.
  11. I'd like to only add here that recreating all those seed feeding pipes for instructions costed me few additional grey hairs...
  12. It's good that you have fixed that rear steered axle.
  13. After seeing yours I'd go for steering connected to something located above the cab, and maybe mechanism that lowers and unfolds the arms at the same time.
  14. I was considering making a terra gator, but was sure that it will not look good. You have just shown that it can look great. Awesome model!
  15. If someone thought that only Lepin steals from MOCers, well you were wrong. One of my followers has shown me this. Basically someone in Netherlands is selling 3/4 parts from 42100 set, with my (cut, removed watermarks, etc) instructions. And even with stolen photos from Eric. Also, they are offering instructions too. https://www.bol.com/nl/p/liebherr-pr-776-lego-bulldozer-technisch-bouwpakket-exclusief-limited-model-toy-brick-lighting-dozer-3000-bouwstenen/9300000025852121/ Thoughts?
  16. An alternate model for 42122 Jeep Wrangler. Based on trophy trucks: Featuring front wheel steering, suspsension with shock absorbers on both axles and jerry cans ;) This model uses 100% of parts from 42122 set, with a little cheat for drum winch, used as a spacer under the spare wheel. The Wrangler does not come with many gears, but I managed to build a contraption allowing to have HoG steering by gear on the roof. There are two jerry cans instead of passenger seats : Doors can be opened: And here's the video: Instructions can be found at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-62805/M_longer/42122-trophy-truck/ Sample pages:
  17. That high part count may be caused by higly detailed blade, with more curves like this one:
  18. Please please please record its hard landing in slow motion :)
  19. You will have a lot of friction on actuators used for elevation.
  20. No differential at front in a machine that has articulated chassis will generate stress on the drivetrain elements.
