  1. Tell me one thing: What is the point of using linear actuators as a fake cylinders? You are using same mechanism like in 8275, so I don't see sense in using those parts.
  2. Aha... Or you can just simple connect two cylinders with Technic liftarms: Or 2x2 tiles: It looks simplier, but maybe I am wrong and cutting pieces is a better solution.
  3. I have an advice for you: Build a large, working model, spend many (by many I think about at least 80-90 hours, yes, it could take even more time) hours on making LDraw files, steps, LPub formating, make sure that instructions does not have errors (like I am doing right now with TGS frame, which basically means building whole model from scratch with instructions). Think about all your work, all hours spend on it. Consider selling them for few dollars, as compensation for all these hours you could spend on building something new. And then publish all your work for free if you wish.
  4. No, I am in the middle of other project, which took lot of more time than I planned.
  5. Uhm, no. What's the point of building from LEGO then? Where's the challenge of using limited amount of shapes?
  6. Move lights to bumper, where they should be. And put on their place round bricks as air filters.
  7. No problem, have fun :) All green parts come from 42008 set.
  8. Another day, another idea for contest. There's a toy: And real one work like this: And I decided to use it as a model for LUGPol contest (total amount of 1000 parts). Tractor has 4 pneumatic functions, which are: claw, crane arm rising, crane arm extending, and rear blade lowering. And three manual functions: winch, rotating the crane and front wheel steering + working fake R4 engine: The trailer is rather, simple, becuase most of the parts were used for the tractor, but it has pendualar suspenion: Everything works like this: I have made instructions for it, separate files for tractor and trailer: - Tractor - - Trailer - Parts list on Rebrickable (for both models): http://rebrickable.c...or-with-trailer Sugestions about instructions are welcome.
  9. You are aware that it's not a motorcycle?
  10. If anyone is still interested in building it, I have added this MOC to Rebrickable: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/M_longer/kids-tricycle
  11. Hi. I have very annoying problem with pneumatic hoses made in LSynth. After synth, I saved the file and it became problematic for LDview to load. I have checked its size and it is 4Mb. A line with "unknown" part has duplicated several thousand(!) times inside the file. Someone had similiar problem? Is there a way to fix it? It appears to be random bug, because other hoses I have made have typical, few kb size.
  12. Well, there's also this little thing:
  13. I will laugh with him, may I? I was curious how this model will end, because now there are parts that were unavailable when I was building my R944C, like smal LAs. It is sometimes difficult to build same detail in different way, but I am sure that in overal Thor's model is not a copy of mine R944C.
  14. Long time ago I have acquired front wheel from 8420 set: And it was left unused for many months, in the meantime I even found a good reason to use it: But I was too lazy to build it. But there's a contest currently going on LUGPol, about building models that are built like Technic sets (which meant big problems for me, becuase I do not know how to build with panels ;) ). First category, up to 200 elements (my trike has 165). It was a good occasion to pull out my never used panels from 8258 I am spending lot of time lately learning how to use MLCad and LPub, so I decided to test my skills, and I have made instructions for it. Picture is a link to PDF from my Bricksafe account. There's no wheel from 8420 in LDraw parts, so I have used more recent one wheel. Also, any suggestions about that instruction are welcome :)
  15. Oh I am working in MLCad at least for a month now, and I am discovering new options. I have a model that was built for a contest on LUGPol (Technic model that looks like set, and have 1000 parts in total), and I have made instructions for it. Only thing that is missing are pneumatic tubes, which are problematic, becuase my PC slows down after adding another synthed parts :( http://bricksafe.com.../Forest Tractor
  16. I am always amazed when I see your instructions. Is it really possible to do with MLCad and LPub only?
  17. Maybe because black one has a cutout? Can you post a image?
  18. Volvo FMX. It will look good in pair with my Volvo loader :) Also, I am rebuilding MAN TGS to rear tipping version right now. It seems that I will relase instructions for it and low loader in the same time.
  19. For those who were curious about the instructions for low loader; I am in the middle of work, whole frame is almost done, things that are left to do are ramps and deck. Trailer is designed for hauling heavy models like my loaders. I have all files divided into submodels, I am working simultaneously on instructions for this trailer and on a new truck :)
  20. And you really think that it will fly? How much does it weights now, 2kg?
