  1. I will start making LDD models after I finish buliding that low loader trailer, I promise ;)
  2. I am working on a Schwarzmuller 4-axle low loader, which will be pulled by... this:
  3. I have some pictures with 8265, sorry Lundgren :P
  4. Hello. First of all, I don't read forums so often as I used to do, so if someone has a question for me, write a PM. Unfortunatelly, there are no instructions for any of my models, except this L580. But it will change, I have to make some tweaks in my Kenworth W900 dump truck, and after that, I will go make virtual model, which will be used for making instructions
  5. Yeah, the biggest problem with this model is its age. It was built in 2009 and I was sure that it will be disassembled few days after publishing its pictures, so I did not payed attention where every element was placed. But we have 2014 and it is still intact. EXCEPT those missing LED lights, which are currently in my blue Kenworth W900 (which also should be disassembled long time ago...) I am just too lazy to take them apart :D
  6. I have found a picture that could be a help for you guys :)
  7. Unfortunatelly, 6x6 dish does not exist in yellow :( This is the reason why I am using that 62.4 wheels as wheel caps.
  8. Better thanks Blakbird for his infinite amounts of patience. I am a horrible person when it comes to cooperation ;)
  9. Yeeeah, that was my first thought after seeing that Volvo loader :) Many thanks for Blakbird for making those great instructions :)
  10. They look nice, but there are two cars and a trailer. They met contest rules (The three models should serve a different purpose)?
  11. Ok, thanks for clarification, but I have another question... Each model should be different. It means that I can not make two models that represents same type of machine, but not identical or two identical copies? And if two of these models work a bit different, but they do the same work (it is important for me, because in real life they work in pairs), they will be accepted? If not I will search for another set of vehicles...
  12. Does the vehicle load counts as part of the model? For example, 500 of 1x1 DBG plates on a tipper?
  13. I got used to use lots of system pieces to give my models look of real machines. So I wonder if I could built those three models as mix of technic and system pieces (technic frame and mechanisms') with covering of system pieces, giving them more Model Team look? Or it should be a model which uses only liftarm/technic bricks/panels to recreate the shape of machines?
  14. Don't believe everything you hear ;) Their pushing force is the same as normal cylinders with two inlets have. But their pistons are much weaker, because they are made from plastic, not metal. So you have to pay atention to where are you puting them. They work quite well in my Sandvik TH550 mining truck:

Minifig scale model of Liebherr T 282B, one of the largest haul trucks. It's fully motorized, with single M Motor for steering, two M motors for drive and single XL motor for tipping. [/media]
  16. From 7 July to 16 September models built by LUGPol memebers will be displayed at City Engineering Museum in Cracow. We want to try something new this time, so there will be a live transmision showing our preparations and opening of the event.

Black part between lights is not connected to rest of the frame, but it fits tightly, so it does not fall out.

I was browsing the internet for something to build and I have found this... Truck: Trailer: Both:
  19. OK, I'm glad that you like it. And it seems that DLuders again was faster than me... So now I could say something more, right? It took over SIX month to build. It all started in 2011, with an idea of making dump truck that will use small linear actuators for raising the tipper bed. It worked nice, but I didn't had too many time for Lego at the beginning of the 2012, so completed model was ready for publishing late in... March. For no known reason, when I started making movies showing how it works, tipper raising mechanism went down. It can be seen at the end of the video posted above. Sooo it took another month to rebuild whole frame from scratch, leaving only cabin and tipper intact. In the final version raising mechanism include two 13L gear racks, connected with liftarm to the bed. And as you can see it works quite good, but I did not had enough space to gear it down more. In the meanitme I was working on other model, but it will be published in the Town forum ;)
  20. It's time to show another model that stood for too long on my desk. No pneumatics or motors this time, it's purely Model Team build. Since I saw the real machine I love its colour sheme. I thought that it could look good in LEGO colours (Dark Bley and Orange). And sometimes idea changes into model... Real machine: And my model: Front wheels can be "steered".

V-LI-01E I am back in business :D I took a while to complete this model (I didn't had time, pieces etc) but it seems that I'll be posting new models more often now. First, the real machine: And my model: Front wheels are steered by bevel gear located on the back of the grader: Blade and ripper are operated by pneumatic cylinders fed from small pump: And here you can see how it works:

One of our moderators has bought this marvelous set and posted review at LUGPol's reviews forum: http://www.lugpol.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?p=204217
  23. I'm glad that you all like it and don't complain because it's another reeeed underground machine :D Yes, I'm thinking about building hard rock miner, The MH620.
  24. Sandvik TH550 is a 50 ton underground truck built for tough working conditions. It took me two months to build its model, and I'm quite pleased with the result. From the mechanical side it's not complicated, single PF M for steering and single XL motor for drive (4x4). Tipper is raised by four old type red pneumatic cylinders, fed from manual pump hidden behind the side radiator. I wanted to make it fully IR operated, but unfortunately Linear Actuators were to weak to raise the tipper. Anyway, it works good in current configuration. The real machine: General view: Back of the tractor: Tipper up: Load & Haul: Group photos (I think that there will be more Sandvik machines in future...) And a movie showing how it works:
