For the "real" building blocks, the older kid LOVES Star Wars bricks, and my younger guy is more into builds like cars/houses/etc. Cloning tends towards Halo and military themes. To be honest, I'm into it more or less because they are and I get enthusiastic about their things (justifies the expense to my wife). I am, however, also a G.I. Joe fan, and as a result the upcoming clone sets are really getting my interest. I'll update more about me as I get the time, I grew up in the north and northwest suburbs (lived in Chicago in the 90's) before getting married. I ama career firefighter in the suburbs now. BTW: any idea what the assembled Length and Width are for this thing?

Kre-o is just too specialized in the market right now, they need to start weaseling into more common and generic builds to get momentum up. There's a TON of potential though! For what is worth, I found one of these at Walmart on clearance for $34 recently. It'll be more for the kids than me, but as we're between holidays and birthdays I'm probably gonna claim first rights.

Hi, just signed up as the kids are phasing into bricks and out of action figures, and are crazy about several Lego (and other unmentionables) bricks.
