[RUMOUR] LEGO Icons Black Pearl coming in 2025
The rumor seems to imply it is. I hope it isn't the case. I, and probably everyone else, would prefer minifig play scale. EKnight

[RUMOUR] LEGO Icons Black Pearl coming in 2025
Am I excited for another ship? always. Am I excited for a new Black Pearl? Of course? Am I excited for it to be the scale of the Endurance. No. No I am not. Would I still get it? probably. But I want minifig play scale! EKnight

[OFFICIAL] LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance Ship released Black Friday 2024
Both? Also, Blacktron spaceships. And the tan parts are good for ports, landscaping. But black parts in particular are great for almost anything, but Blacktron in particular. EKnight

[OFFICIAL] LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance Ship released Black Friday 2024
After buying and building The Endurance, a few things come out at me. First, the positives: 1. It was a very enjoyable build! 2. While it's obviously not a golden age of sail sailing vessel, it is still a wonderful set to behold, and will sit proudly upon my shelf. 3. I have never wanted a second copy of a set so badly for the parts. Such a great parts pack, for my building wants, at any rate. Now, the negatives, which is really only one: The main sails don't looks great. They sit too flat, but not perfectly flat. Every review, every image I have seen it's all the same. If Lego had made the sails just a tiny bit taller, so they could billow in the wind, or even if the top two were like the bottom one, where they only attached to 2 points, the top, instead of 4, it would look so much better. Other than that, I love this set, I highly recommend it, and I will likely try to get a second copy for the parts at some point. EKnight

[OFFICIAL] LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance Ship released Black Friday 2024
While it may not be minifig scale, would it really look out of place next to most of Lego's ships? Maybe, maybe not. It's certainly a different looking boat. Is till like it, and will likely get it. Maybe it will look good next to the 398/10021 USS Constellation set? (Probably not, the two have HUGELY different builds. But the scales seem similar. I'll probably get it. It's still cool enough for me. Day 1 purchase? maybe, depends how much I like the GWP. EKnight

Coincidence? I THINK NOT! EKnight

[BDP] Scalawag Sloop
A wonderful little support vessel for the Barracuda! The use of the bananas is brilliant, and looks pretty good! The only bit of criticism I can offer, is the attachment for the staysail in the front looks a bit... janky. I feel there may be a better way, but if stabilty is what you are after, that may be difficult. EKnight

[OFFICIAL] LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance Ship released Black Friday 2024
Lego is pretty good at keeping things under wraps up until close to the release date. Look at Eldorado Fortress. I wouldn't expect Lego to release anything until a week or two in advance. Leaks are another thing entirely. Those could appear anywhere at any time.

Congratulations to the other winners, and to Mister Phes for running the whole contest. All the winning MOCs were excellent, and so were plenty that didn't win. EKnight

[CONTEST] The Infamous Steve
A contest's success should be judged on the number of MOCs submitted, not the amount of the votes cast. If a contest has 100 entries, but only 10 people vote for the winners, I would consider that a success. If a contest had 10 entries, and 100 people voting, I would not consider that a success, even if the 10 entries were all spectacular. Obviously the winner is picked more fairly if more people vote, but a contests success should always be based on MOC participation. Just my two cents. EKnight

[MOC] Royal Navy Frigate - MOC
