  1. Hi there, please change to "BobSmithHello55", thanks!
  2. Recommend reviewing the "Loop" and "Switch" guidance on EV3Lessons.com .
  3. Yes, it seems that the LDD.Lego.com Gallery ( http://ldd.us.lego.com/en-us/gallery ) isn't being updated anymore. I suggest posting your creations on Rebrickable.com or Flickr.
  4. Perhaps you should consider going it with the Lego Mindstorms EV3 programmable brick and EV3 servo motors.
  5. Nice! This is the kind of full-function tank that kids would LOVE to build. Sariel's and Tommy Styrvoky's tanks are great, but they are often beyond the reach of most Technic fans. Is there any chance that you could make Building Instructions for your "Boris"?
  6. You could use Aanchir's Sprocket Wheel Template to make your curved treads in LDD -- type in "Sprocket Wheel Template" in this forum's Search window to find it.
  7. Sariel has a useful Gears Tutorial on his website Sariel.pl .
  8. Yes, you should contact Lego Customer Service. I recently bought 3 ea. Power Functions IR Transmitters, and they didn't work. I sent them back free of charge, and the replacements didn't work either, so I sent them back in their pre-paid envelope. They ended up refunding my money. Don't accept subpar quality in Lego products.
  9. Read the tips on legomindstormsrobots.com/lego-mindstorms/lego-mindstorms-ris-windows7/
  10. I found a YouTube video with a link to the motorization Building Instructions, but am having problems posting a direct link here. However, if you do a Google search for "Lego 42000 Motorized", the fourth YouTube video that pops up in the list has the instructions. It's by "modsbytweek" and is dated December 13, 2013. Good luck.
  11. You may end up in a vicious feedback cycle, whereby you add ore motors which can mean more weight, and then you need more powered axles with even more motors, which leads to more weight....
  12. It looks like a Corvette hatchback!
  13. @ kaneda-dry: You should upload your LDD .lxf file on Rebrickable.com -- that site can do everything that you wish. Be sure to took at the site's tutorial.
  14. Yeah, he means this part: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=x928cx1 .
  15. I doubt that one can buy the Volvo's bucket separately, because (like the Lego Unimog's orange panels) the bucket is probably licensed. I bet the only way to get the bucket is via Bricklink, from some guy who parts-out the set and sells the bucket for lots of money.
  16. Congratulations to Lego911 & LasseD !
  17. I like all of Lego911's entries -- particularly the one of the "extended family" gathered around one of the SEATs!
  18. You should just get a v2 Power Functions Receiver off of Bricklink. According to Philo ( http://philohome.com/pfrec/pfrec.htm ), "Each channel of V2 receiver can provide 1.5A continuous."
  19. In its 2006 Press Release http://www.usmint.gov/pressroom/?action=press_release&ID=771 , the "United States Mint Limits Exportation & Melting of Coins" -- "The new regulation authorizes a fine of not more than $10,000, or imprisonment of not more than five years, or both, against a person who knowingly violates the regulation. In addition, by law, any coins exported, melted, or treated in violation of the regulation shall be forfeited to the United States Government."
  20. @ MrNumbskull13: You should read about the "shunt" in this Eurobricks topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=74919&hl=shunt#entry1412719 .
  21. I always wanted the 42025 cargo plane. I might attempt to make an "ultimate" of it too.
  22. That's cool! I tried to build the Technic mobile crane mk II, but I got all the rotations all wrong and I gave up...
  23. Very interesting! It is cool to have that kind of gear instead of the regular 16 tooth.
