Ordered six of the cmf on Lego.com (and some other stuff while using some saved vip points) and got Batman, Cyborg, Cheetah, Bat-mite, and two Jokers. Never ordered cmf online before and was happy I only got a single double as well as Batman which, according to others is rare. Today I managed find a box at Walmart (where they’re $3.44 btw) and got Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Sinestro, and Bumblebee through feeling. Could’ve kept going but only wanted to get six more. So far my favorites are Superman, Flash, Cyborg, and Sinestro. I have to say I’m really impressed with how high quality these figures are even compared to ones in sets. I hope they do a series 2 just for the possibility of Jon Kent Superboy, Zatanna, Red Robin, or Doctor Faye which were my most wanted that didn’t get in. Either way, I can’t wait to complete the set soon enough!

Do we have any more info on that yet? Personally, I’m hoping for a collector’s series BvS Batmobile.

Love this wave! I find it funny how they just threw Shazam into a set with Batman and Riddler just like the first set with Flash. I like the bat cave quite a bit and I think it’s the best one since the original (but I still like that one better because of the turnstile). It has a great minifig selection though I would’ve like Tim Drake in his current suit instead of a repeat of Damian and Kate. Two Face and Catwoman are perfect (especially if you’ve read All-Star Batman) and I like Clayface, but the TLBM one was better. I like the miniature trophy room a lot as well. The Mr. Freeze set is a great throwback to the 2008 one. The Batmobile looks like a perfect rendition of the ‘89 one I just hope it’s not $40. The Batwing set is absolutely fantastic and on of the best DC sets in years. The juniors sets also look better than previous ones and I might get the Arkham one for more prison suits and the Harley head and hairpiece. Was hoping for more new designs from DC Supervillains (namely Red Robin and Deathstroke), but what’re you gonna do? edit: 501st post!

Yeah, I’m not a fan of that fan, but it does have recent comic precedence in Rebirth. Personally, I’d like to get a white/red split torso, but i wouldn’t hate the head and headpiece from the game to put on the TLBM version.

Loved that Christmas special! Definitely one of the best in New-Who. Great MOC! If they made a whole DW Lego line, this would make a great set.

Just bought the Inferno Squad BP as I love the characters in the novel and the game’s story mode. I knew beforehand the heads weren’t accurate, but I’m wondering does anyone know some good options for their heads and hair (including Seyn)? Also a good design for the ID10 droid (although I might just mod the one from the Praetorian guard pack)?

I liked 75973 a lot (despite some flaws) but I haven’t gotten 75975 yet. It really depends on how much you want to spend and which characters you’d rather have first.

I’ll preface this with I’ve been trying to cut down on themes I buy sets for , but I’ll give an honorable mention to Harry Potter as all of those sets look great, but not worth it to me as a non-HP fan. Best Theme: DC Superheroes (Lex’s mech is probably one of my favorite mid-sized sets I’ve ever built) Best Minifigure/Figure: Reverse Flash Best Set: Voltron Worst Theme: Brickheads (Lego should stick to what they do well rather than capitalize on other popular products like Funko) Worst Minifigure/Figure: Pilot Luke (from 75218)(I hate how large the new helmet is and no printed chinstrap is ridiculous) Worst Set: nothing is worse than the First Order AT-ST, But shout out to the Imperial Conveyex Transport for being overpriced AND only including the front car and one middle car. Most Anticipated for 2019: Apocalypseburg, Inferno Squad, and what is hopefully the first of several Overwatch waves.

Ah, I see. I’ve been mostly getting my new set info from Instagram as I’ve been absent from here for a while. Though, I do hope they end up making a new UCS Tantive IV (since I already have 10198).

Good to know! Maybe I’ll get it on sale later this year, but I’m still not in much of a rush as I do have both previous versions.

I kinda fingered it would be farther along that she thought, but she did make it sound like a winter wave for the end of the year rather than a summer wave. IMO we will probably get a second wave, but if the first one doesn’t sell well, then the third is out of the picture. I am hoping it goes that far at least though as, for the most part, I like the sets I’ve built so far. Oh that’s a very good idea! I’ll keep that in mind for when I get that set.

I'm not the biggest fan of either character either, but I want the complete roster, especially if this happens to be the only wave of sets. Personally, I most wanted to get Pharah (my main), but preferred to get all the smaller sets first as I'd rather have more characters and builds than one set that I mainly just want for the figures. Also, for $90, the Watchpoint: Gibraltar set should've at least had one more minifigure even is it was a generic scientist or astronaut. I really think they could've pulled off Genji's face especially considering the scarred Anakin figure and the various Vader heads. I think they could have done something like Metallo's head in Lego DC Supervillains, but it would've likely ended up like Mercy's head. Speaking of which, are there any other good alternative heads for her before I get that set eventually (besides Tallie as I don't have that set and would likely keep her as is if I did get it)?

Didn’t realize the Tantive IV rumor was just speculation. Hope the ISD still happens (even if it was also speculation). Also, since I have the last versions, does anyone think the AT-AP or Droid Gunship are worth buying? They seem as close to direct remakes as I’ve seen in a while. Otherwise I’m only interested in the BPs. Sadly I bet I’m not the only one who feels that way. Hopefully the summer wave is better.

I think it goes without saying that I too hope for the rest of the roster to show up in a wave 2 and beyond. Although, I really hope that we get the rest of the release characters before the any later released characters. Since they keep adding more to the game itself I don’t want to wait several years for all of the original heroes. Also, I hope any rerelease of wave 1 characters have different skins (within reason). I think a large D2C set would be a great thing for this theme. A large section of a popular map with enough characters for two full teams would be a good seller I think.

So I just got 4/6 of the sets (other than Gibraltar and Bastion). I’m generally happy with most of them (but I agree with the Hanzo and Genji flaws (seriously no face print on Genji?), and I haven’t looked back in this thread to see most other opinions, but I really think Reinhardt should’ve had his shield for that price and I don’t know why D.Va can’t hold onto the controls without modification. That seems like a major issue that should’ve been fixed while designing the set. Other than that stuff I really like the builds and think they’ll all look good on display. I’d also like to add that (and I know they’re probably not the best source) but I talked to a Lego Store employee about more possible more sets and she told me that they probably have more sets designed, but they’re waiting to see how this wave sells and if it sells well more sets will be out late this year.

Hi everyone, I haven't been too active on here, but I was hoping to get some feedback on my first major MOC. I recently finished it up in LDD, but before I started getting the parts together I want it to be perfectly planned out. I took some inspiration from 7740 as I was planning to break it down to help build this MOC and the batsignal isn't my design, but it is the one I currently have built and I like it. There are several printed/stickered parts I want to use that aren't available on LDD, obviously as they're from licensed sets. I welcome any feedback and comments. I could see them doing some civilian figs like the newscaster and the guy who predicted the city's collapse as the Ninjago series has a bunch of civilians and they could be useful if they need to fill a slot. I'm just happy we're getting Hugo Strange and Black Canary as I've wanted them both for a while.

Pretty good sets, surprisingly! I'm most excited about the JL set to finally get Hawgirl! Egg-head and Harley Quinn sets will be good at least for figures and I'm still waiting for other boomerang set to be cheap since the builds are awful and I want Katana and Red Hood but I might get buggy so I can have the classic one. I don't care for space shuttle set but good price and knowing what those other costumes are could change that for me.

It would be incredible if they didn't have any exclusive mini figs this year since this is the first year I won't be able to go since 2013! They're a pain to get there and if I go again next year I'd rather do something else than wait in a line in the sun for four hours to maybe get an exclusive.

Marvel - Spider-man 2099 DC - CW Black Lightning I really hope there isn't any I want because its the first time in like 5 or 6 years I'm not able to go.

Excited to finally get a better idea of the JL sets! Its safe to say Batman will be in at least two sets so I hope we get both suits he wears in the film and not just a reuse of the bvs suit. I don't see WW getting changed much from her bvs figure and I bet Supes will be in his bvs suit as well whether or not he gets a black suit in the film as I doubt WB will want that to leak. I'm betting Cyborg, Flash and Aquaman will be split up between the sets to force us to buy them all to complete the League. Since the flying fox is so expensive it would be cool if it had the upgraded batmobile included to fit in the back of the plane. I do have to wonder what set Steppenwolf will be in, if any, or what kind of figure he'd be. Hopefully we do get an abundance of parademons though!

As a big fan of what DC is doing with their films, I don't foresee a reboot any time soon. I hope JL will be the turning point that will bring more fans on-board but it will still make enough money to justify more movies and they are clearly confident enough in their direction to be jumpstarting so many new projects (Gotham Sirens, Nightwing, Batgirl, JL Dark, etc.). If they thought the DCEU was doomed as many keep saying, then they would've cut it off already like with Green Lantern (2011).

Whatever the difference in price is, it is too overpriced. Would be worth it if it had a vehicle platform like the '06 batcave. They could've cut out a chunk of pieces from the duck-mobile for that if they wanted to as well. It's crazy how they made two great looking Arkham Asylums but they can't make a batcave nearly as good as the original.
