LEGO Sci-Fi 2015 Pictures and Rumors
where did you get the hair piece with ears? LOTR? Very fitting, Nimoy looks like how he appeared in the new J.J star trek films(Minus uniform in movie). A good tribute. RIP Leonard Nimoy.

Rovers: The LG-2 and CS-0
Very creative I think. You've included greebles, SNOT, rare parts(wheels?), inventive techniques, controls(!) , play features and a "nice" overall look on both rovers. I especially like the CS-0 rover. It feels like a little lab. The way you made the cargo for the LG-2 is unusual and cool, and the suspension seems well built. The use of those clip fence pieces for the sides of the cargo area is something that I don't think I have seen before, but is it study?

LEGO Sci-Fi 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Huh? As I understand you, you are saying that space returns in every 2-3 years? So far, this is what I have seen: Unless you were saying that a 2-3 year gap is likely until the next space sub-theme, the evidence does not support your statement. If you are saying that Lego might be cycling Space sub-themes in and out in 2-3 year intervals from now on, that is possible, but the past patterns do not support it.

LEGO Sci-Fi 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Lol. You can never be too careful! I wonder why lego are still releasing space shuttles? NASA decommisioned them in 2011. I'd be more interested in a lego Orion Spacecraft! With lunar lander.... Now that would classifiy as a prequel space set, and its our near future in RL.

Ah, I see. My bad. This power armor you are talking about, is it a mech?

LEGO Sci-Fi 2015 Pictures and Rumors
The Lego Movie 2 release pushed back to 2018? Thats rather drastic if the plan was to release it in '15. Am I missing something? My dream is that when Lego releases another Space line, it is a cross between Mars Mission/Power miners, SP3, Futuron, Blacktron, and a couple of others. In short, I would like 3 fractions, SP4 with their own vehicles and minifigs, Blacktron 3 with their own vehicles and minifigs and Futuron 2, combining MM, PM, Exploriens and normal civilian space life. Oh, and a White-ish colour scheme for Futuron 2 at least, please. You can have Orange/Blue/Black/etc as a secondry colour, but White makes sense because it reflects deadly solar/cosmic radiation better than other colours!

[MOC LDD] Deep Space Mining Ship
This, in my opinion, is a pretty realistic looking transport/mining ship. I can definitly imagine it built in 50-100 years if we globally wanted too. Oh, and it looks awesome too!

MOC Ice Planet 2002 monorail train
Sweet... This is very much an updated Ice Planet set. If it was in white and orange and in shops, I'd buy it. (No problem with white and blue, just a personal preference! I like MM) The train flows very nicely. Those windscreens are not in common use today, and you've used them brilliantly.

[MOC] Icecream Space Marine
Lol! I thought "Revenge of the Ice cream man!" I don't know much about warhammer 40K, so I can't comment on that aspect. The mech looks and must feel very sturdy. The Ice Cream gun is for firing at annoying custumers I suppose? The White, Lime green, Pink and Yellow colours are so... Ice cream van? I would say that this should be the official 'ground' alternate model of the Ice cream machine set. Maybe its a Ice cream van transformer? The possibilities! I love this!

[MOC] a chilling discovery
No! The hungry dog has to sing "Let me eat". I wonder what the lyrics would be? Paddy, I like how you cover the studs to imply smooth snow, and how hill face rises. Very clean. Is the hollow ice piece from Alpha Team?

LEGO StarCraft 2 C-14 Impaler Gauss Rifle
Just me, but maybe you can break up the monotony of black a little more? Also, how does the shooting mechanisam work? Must be complex. Overall, a well constructed gun, but not something I'd bring to a REAL gun fight, if you know what I mean.

MOC: Blacktron Pod Racer
Very nice, even though I though I am indifferent about Blacktron. Instantly reconisable as a blacktron vehicle, and a pod racer! The pod looks a tad blocky, like the classic space of old. The engines are sleek and look powerful, as a pod racers engines usually look. The pit crew and Jar Jar are the icing on the cake. I think you pulled this Blacktron/SW combo off well. About 40-60 parts on this MOC?

Tronish Vehicles
I did not know of those wheels before! Quite different. I think the use of SNOT in #1 lightcycle is good, but my favorite is ightcycle #2. I think it looks very retro-futuristic. I can imagine the minifig controlling the lightcycle using cameras and touchscreens. ;) The sloping roof reminds me of a lobster back, quite cool. I can't help but think though, three of those wheels and you could have a tron trike!

Spaceship Engines.
Sorry for bumping and double posting, I have a good point to add. The Martian atmosphere is composed >95% of Carbon Dioxide(CO2). That sounds like a lot, but the Martian atmosphere has only 0.6% the pressure of ours at sea level. So basically the Martian atmosphere is some CO2 and not much else. And a tiny amount of CO2 at that. Even if that was 100% Oxygen, for our Jet Planes, it would be like flying +22 miles high on Earth. And we all know that CO2 is Non-combustable. So there is some Good news and Bad news: The Bad news is that you would need a very alttiude Jet Engine that can breath in CO2 and Combust it to fly on Mars. The Good news is that if you mix Magnesium powder with CO2, it becomes Combustable! What all this means, and my whole point is, is that if you design a special High alttiude jet engine, if you also design it to in take CO2 effecentlly, and finally if you bring a supply of Magnesium powder on-board the Martian airplane(As well as a supply of Jet fuel), you might be able to fly on Mars using jet engines. Now, this does not entirely make the MM airplanes possible, but maybe in 2045, it is possible. Sorry for the long and slightly scientific post.
