  1. It became available in stock on Amazon yesterday. Last night there were 12 in stock, now they are all gone. I've never known an item sell out so fast... It's also now available at argos for order in to store.
  2. I would also like to know this =P I've seen Tesco has Starblaster Showdown on its website though "currently unavailable". I've found they're usually the first to stock, followed by Argos.
  3. I would. :P I was speaking hyperbolically though. What I don't get is the amount of people who use that cowl with the un-goggled face. It looks odd to me with the large eye holes and so little eye to fill 'em :P I mean I ain't judgin', it just looks a little awkward to me.
  4. Great review nad pics =D I don't think the heli looks too squished, I think it's a pretty cool design =) It is a repurposed civilian chopper in the trailer I think, so makes sense not to be as bulky as Deadpool's. Agree on the hair too. I bought that hairpiece in black specifically for helmet-less Iron Man, and it looks really good. I recently tested the brown from Commish Gordon and, while more accurate, it doesn't look as good. Perhaps because comics Tony has black hair and so in the charicatured form that is the minifig, the more simplified black instead of dark brown looks more "right".
  5. Well I don't like the lightsaber piece, that looks messy, but I really like the cryo-canister on the side, that's pretty cool. While I agree regarding Riddler, Magneto in the comics is actually super-buff, weird as it is. Seriously, just google image search and the first few comics pics will be of a pectacular Magneto (it's all to do with the time someone turned him into a baby and then he later got re-aged to the prime of his life with basically just grey hair as a holdover or something... comics are weird :P). While I do think Riddler should have had a suit, the most heinous crime is the grey bowler. Maybe that's accurate to the early comics, but I think it looks bad on the minifig, it really should be green =/
  6. I agree somewhat on freeze. I think his body is a vast improvement, as is the gun, but he needs goggles for certain and the old head doesn't really look right on the new body
  7. Personally I generally find superflous bits of scenery a bit of a waste, so I like the sets as they are, though I understand your viewpoint. I'm also sad to see so many people hatin' on the truck, I love that SHIELD truck :P I just think it's really cool, the Helicarrier SHIELD Jet too, but maybe because I've been out of Lego for years and Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape was my first new build since 2005. I also love Hawkeye's minfig, but then I loved the design in the movie, since it echoes his Ultimates suit. While he's not ginger (in the film or comics) I somehow think it fits the minifig well. I do wish Loki's body had been black instead of grey though. Lego seems very black-phobic these days, TDKR Batman was grey instead of black, ditto War Machine and Bane's mask. While Batman and Bane look good (probably better than they might) with the changes, I think War Machine looks far too much like Mk II Iron Man in grey (even though WM is more of a darker grey than true black, he's still a darker tone than Lego's grey). p.s. apologies for not capitalising LEGO but too lazy and tired to change it right now.
