  1. Yes, it's another X-wing. I wanted to experiment with giving the T-70 full wings like the T-65, and this was the result. Not as elegant as the split wings, but I like it. It's meant to be an updated design for the Legends continuity. The T-68 X-Wing Starfighter was the successor to Incom's venerable T-65 X-Wing that saw extensive use by the Rebellion during the Galactic Civil War. The T-68 received extensive technological upgrades to bring it up to the requirements of the New Republic's elite fighter squadrons. First flown by the legendary Rogue Squadron in engagements against the Imperial Remnant, it quickly proved itself to be every bit the workhorse Incom's developers had hoped. Since it was such a basic mod, I decided to build a little diorama around it, representing a Rogue Squadron hangar. Minifigs are two ground crew members, Jaina Solo, and her wingmate Anni Capstan. The cockpit has a slot for Jaina's lightsaber or Anni's blaster. Feedback always welcome!
  2. I'm in the process of bricklinking the parts I don't already have, so odds are this will end up as a physical model at some point hopefully! Yeah, the Mk. II Viper from the re-imagined series was definitely an inspiration here.
  3. The Darter-class program began as a full-on replacement for the New Republic's aging A-wing Interceptors. The goals were to create a light, fast fighter capable of surpassing the A-wing's modest firepower. Though the project did not quite meet it's goals, the "Darts", as they became affectionately known, proved popular with Jedi and more daring non-force-sensitive pilots. This was a fun little build, though figuring out how to connect the nose with the cockpit section was a longer process than it should have been. I'm fairly new to the world of more complex SNOT building, so all things told I think it went pretty well! The landing gear actually does fold up into the nose cone, as well, which I'm more proud of than I should be. Also, I really hope the embedded photos worked. Please let me know if they don't.
  4. I'd love to see Obi-Wan's Actis-class interceptor released outside of a rare value pack, with the improvements on that fighter model made by 9494-1 in 2012. A Mace Windu version would be excellent as well, but I don't know what the chances of that are, given that his interceptor technically only ever appeared in the EU.
  5. Dear Dibella yes! I may go a wee bit nuts with this. Thank you so much for posting it.
  6. I'm overjoyed that the long Elven hair was added. That'll help me out quite a bit. On an unrelated note, is there a way to scroll the pattern application window? One would assume that if all these new decals are going to be implemented, it would be a useful feature to have. I'm already having trouble fitting in all the head patterns.
