  1. I'm looking forward to see how this develops, spent a couple of enjoyable hours on it last night running around and getting a feel of it. But I have to echo the common complaints, poor game and camera controls.

I found that it was best to turn the volume down and let the images do the talking. With that in mind I found the review helpful as it covered most of the detail in the set. The only thing I would have liked to see more of was the horse and what various pose options it has (i.e. rearing).

The Kingdoms castle set has it as well an it is reasonably stable, enough to move it as a complete build.

Looking at the HR pictures posted by GRogall has caused me to reconsider my view on these and I will probably get at least the three larger sets. I still don't know what I'll do with the mini figures, but at the very least I can add them to the kids Lego box.
  5. Added another four sets to my Kingdoms collection: 7947 Prison Tower Rescue 7948 Outpost Attack 7955 Wizard 30062 Target Practice Plus extra figures, horses and weapons from Bricklink.

I like the design of the castle but I agree with others comments that the heraldry looks awful as does the armour of the bad guys. The only thing it has going for it in my view is the barding for the new horses. I may still look at getting a couple of the sets for the components and sell off the mini-figures.
  7. I just got back into Lego and have been on a bit of a binge, last week I got the Medieval Market Village and the Village Mill Raid. Today I got the Mirkwood Spider Escape. I'm undecided on the Kingdoms Joust set, I really like the mini-figures but the scale of the scene is out from my castle :|
  8. Thanks heaps Chris, I'll check them out.
  9. Hello, I'll be in Sydney (over from NZ) later this week, can anyone recommend a good Lego store to visit in the Central city (I'll be based in Woolloomooloo) or Castlehill areas? I will have a car. Thanks
