  1. Really great work. The differences in landscaping and the total layout really add to it.
  2. While in wait for bricklink orders I decided to do a vignette about one of my favourite Discworld novels; Monstrous Regiment. The cover legofied: The scene: The "men": from L2R: Wazzer, Jade, sgt Jackrum, Polly, Maladict. more on brickshelf.
  3. Will you be giving tips or no-go's before the deadline?
  4. Great stuff Sam. I really like your Lu-Tzi. What torso did you use for him? Fun to see how everyone gets slightly different ideas for the same characters. As a coincidence I had the same idea about Death in his farmers outfit. But I am still looking for the old lady to accompany him. Keep it up.
  5. Sure, the more the merrier. Discworld is big enough for all of us.
  6. Start reading Tiffany when you have finished the regular Discworld books. And no, there won't be an interior. It is a well known fact that the University is bigger on the inside then on the outside. Doctor Who can relate to that I think. The Tower of Arts will be another problem. Being 300 yards from the bottom and about 3 miles from the top.
  7. minifig: Mime theme (official): Castle theme (unofficial): Discworld It is well known that the Patrician of Ankh-Morpork doesn't like mimes. All other clowns are okay. But these guys just rattle his chains going about not saying a word. The mime actually goes at the end of the chain, hanging by his feet. topview The pit itself As usual I give it my Discworld twist. this vignette has been on my wishlist for a long time and this was just the push to build it. More on flickr and brickshelf.
  8. Another part of the wall has been finished. More on brickshelf
  9. Silly me, thanks for solving it. And it works too
  10. Looking good. With more details it really improves. Keep it up.
  11. Legoworld.....when it is finished I would really like to do this. But at this pace it will be 2012. In the mean time two pictures of recent work. I took the wall down to add some detail to the butresses. And then rebuild it again ofcourse. Then I shifted attention to the right side tower. This is an in between shot. Two sides of the tower are finished now. There are 9 more new pics in the brickshelf folder. Now I'm waiting for bricklink orders to drop in.
  12. This looks very promissing Hendrik. Looking forward to seeing the full diorama. Have fun in Cologne.

Happy Birthday Zorbas. Enjoy the (lego filled?) day.
  14. Today I wanted to change my signature banner to this: However I get the message But I have resized it to 99x599 to fit with the guidelines.Can someone tell me what's wrong with it? BTW this is what I wanted to make of my signature: <font size="2"><font face="Palatino Linotype"><i>The Turtle moves......</i></font></font><br><font face="Book Antiqua"><div align="center"><font size="1">the banner is a clicky<br>[topic='45745']<img src="http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/L-space/avatar/banners/banner_wip.png">[/topic]<br></font></div></font><br><div align="center">[topic="31228"]<font size="2">the Discworld Index thread</font>[/topic]</div><br><div align="center"><a href="http://www.l-space.nl" class="bbc_url" title="Link" rel="nofollow external"><b>L-space</b></a> <a href="http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/22462" class="bbc_url" title="Link" rel="nofollow external"><font color="#0000ff">MOCpages</font></a> <a href="http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=L-space" class="bbc_url" title="Link" rel="nofollow external"><font color="#ff0000">Brickshelf</font></a> <a href="http://www.brickset.com/search/?ownedBy=l-space" class="bbc_url" title="Link" rel="nofollow external"><font color="#008000">Brickset</font></a> <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/38180943@N06/sets/" class="bbc_url" title="Link" rel="nofollow external"><font color="#00bfff">flick</font><font color="#ff0000">r</font></a> </div>
  15. A new update, I'm afraid the build will slow down from now on. My collection of bricks is rapidly declining. The courtyard wall: And the outer wall brickshelf and MOCpages
  16. The back wall is now under construction The side entrance is getting its final looks Brickshelf folder
  17. After a few bricklink orders I got to work: The top of the left tower is finished and awaits a roof. The side entrance to the courtyard is on its way. You can also see the door to the inner courtyard. By my side are my to little great helpers. brickshelf
  18. No luck editing the automatic censor replaces female canine by female canine

Well, you might want to give it a go. They are certainly worth it. I just finished Wintersmith, for the second time. Still my favorite are the Watch.
  20. The Great Hall is almost the most important building to the wizards; that's where the dininghall is. I do have a prototype of Moist ready, but I am not happy with it. Some others may be revealed later as well. I have thought about Tiffany but want to get a lot of other ideas finished first. The latest addition to the build folder The side entrance leading to the major courtyard of the University.
  21. This looks great. After a short visit to wikipedia I got the idea. Respect with a capital R.
  22. Thanks, the scaffolding is just there for the build , my macon is ordering more bricks to get started again.
  23. Excellent work again. A perfect home for all of them.
  24. After a long time of of LEGO and just lurking here I just started working on my new project two weeks ago. Here is just a teaser of the build. If you want to follow the build just visit the brickshelf folder. If it is not visible it only means I recently uploaded new photo's, enjoy.
  25. Another fine review, thanks! The Wampa is a great addition to every Star Wars OT collection and is happy in my cabinet eating away at his chicken leg. I took an extra Taun-taun and added han to the display and I'm pretty happy with the looks of it.
