  1. "I wear it for the sick and lonely old for the reckless ones whose bad trip left them cold I wear the black in mourning for the lives that could have been each week we loose a hundred fine young men. .... Till things get brighter I'm the man in black" Great job
  2. Yet another amazing MOC. I have been a fan of this airplane to such an extend that even Top Gun could ruin it. In fact it is the one modelkit that survived my moving house . And this one looks stunnning. Great work Ralph.

It looks very simple and yet amazingly efective. A full train of these would make an awesome sight. very nice use of the old laddre piece btw, you don't see that piece very often any more.
  4. Great job, very like the original. Isn't there a crash test dummy in the new collectable minifigs range. edit: Found it here

Great job. I really like the look of the hotel en the plank structure of the saloon. You just can't wait till noon for the shoot-out.

Thanks for all the comments. I may build another floor with some bunkbeds for the poor to sleep in. And I will try to make some more pictures without the minifigs. They block some small details that took me some time to figure out and implement.
  10. +1 to Quarryman for a smooth transaction.
  11. Thanks Quarryman!

The community build description: In the days gone by it was a sort of hobby of some of the upperclass to show how "human" they were. So after a day of selling slaves or guns, pillaging or just ruining your bussiness associate you would donate to a, private, charity. The wife would hand out soup, blankets or clothing and the president of the charity would sit in his office gloating how good he really is, while collecting more money. This MOC doubles as the Ankh-Morpork Beggars Guild. Where Queen Molly collects the days profit. Allthough they look poor the Beggars Guild is the richest guild in Ankh-Morpork. Think of it: Beggars don't buy anything and get money from people by asking for it or simply for not showing up. Here we see the front, with some old friends; Shorty Screamer, Arnold Sideways, Foul Ole Ron, Coffin' Henry and the Duckman. One of the Mumblers is in the basement. The back with a better view of the basement with the river and sewer. At the side we see the Smell-of-Foul Ole Ron who probably knew a shortcut. Queen Molly receiving todays income from one of the Shufflers in the office. Ground floor where the food and clothes are handed out. Here is the secret entrance to the basement. On the opposite wall there is are shelves with blankets (pic 14). The basement with tonnes of richness. The top view more on Brickshelf and now also on Flickr
  14. I did a guick check because in the past I just thought they were to expensive and I was right. The brick I need the most, 1x3 tan, goes for 0,16 Euro. On bricklink I found just over 170 cheaper lots.
  15. Congrats to the three of you. And Big Cam should make an excellent biker-pirate. Good luck brother.
  16. That's custom for sure. Great work again Ralph. Now it looks better then in my rearview mirror. Keep it up.

Very nice model you made here. It looks like the air intakes actually swivels up or down. Very ingenious.
  19. Great designs again Mariann, congratulations on the new book. But why isn't Eurobricks mentioned on your blog?
  20. Hello all, I am looking for Rock Monster arms from the Power Miners line. I don't need the body or head parts just the arms. Any colour will do, black or dark grey; I don't mind. If you have any offers please pm me. Thanks.
  21. "Ah my youngling your schwarz tag is bigger then mine!"

I'll introduce you to my mother-in-law.
  24. Well, my collecting half just likes to build the sets while looking at the drawings in the instruction booklet and then figuring out where the left over part was supposed to go. Then there is the other half that likes to take the set LEGO designed and tries to add more detail or simply making it bigger. The final half then really likes to build, mostly from inspiration or example, something that LEGO just wouldnt make because there is no market for it or it would just be to expensive. So in the end I do it all, sets, modding and moccing, depending on the circumstances and my needs.

Nice design, I would go for the all black though. And maybe try to lower the sidepanels on the hood? I think that would look even better. But where are the dice in the windshield, this car needs a "redneck indicator"
